People really? Regardless of what we all think of the man, he is in a room of reporters and other people. He isn’t going to give the man any ammunition, shoes or otherwise, that his actions did anything. G. “4 Shoes” Bush does not feel for the Iraqi people. Remember Rove’s citizens arrest. He slapped the woman’s arm/hand and remained seated smiling the entire time. Does this mean KR likes to slap women?

If anything it is a commentary on the US press for sitting and swallowing all of the crap 4 Shoes dished out for years, the lies, being bullied and treated with contempt. Most sat like lemmings.

And lastly, regardless of all of this, the man assaulted the President of the United States.

In a way I see the shoe throwing as an exercise in freedom of speech, and who knows when Iraqis actually get that opportunity. As for the beating, that is disgusting. And Chimpies’ smirk is all the more disgusting. But then again as governor Chimpy thought clemency pleas were funny and something to joke about.

Another possible scenario is that the court could find that al Zaidi acted within the parameters of what the Independent quoted one Iraki lawmaker as saying,

“International law approves people’s right to resist occupation using all means and Mr Muntazer al-Zaidi endeavoured to resist occupation in his own manner.”
