A place where you can actually insult leaders and live to see another day. An Iraqi man at Maliki’s palace threw a shoe at Bush during the appearance. The man was grabbed and dragged out of the room screaming.

The shoe sailed right past the president’s head.

Bush joked about it, saying, “That was a size 10 shoe he threw at me, you may want you to know.”

The man’s screams were still audible after he had been taken to a separate room.
