That the componnd that OBL was in was surrounded the attack was called off due to the civilian causalty element by Washington..who, what department I know not. The Bin Laudin Family had close alliances with the Bush family…maybe favors were owed. But letting go prolonged a lot of problems. If you can drop a 15,00 pounder cluster bomb without ethical concerns it doen’t follw that casualties were an issue.
