A blogger with whom you may be familiar, Jane Hamsher, appears in the video on the left, along with someone named Rebecca Hagelin of the Heritage Foundation.

I haven’t actually been able to watch any of Jane’s remarks, since Hagelin was asked the first question and I couldn’t get past the disturbingly near-humanoid quality of her speaking style.  Perhaps you can dive in and dissect her performance for yourselves.

Even if you don’t get any further than I did, you may be amused by Hagelin’s introduction by the MSNBC anchor, who un-ironically juxtaposes her title at Heritage (she’s  a "vice president" at the purported think tank) with the name of her decidedly non-academic book ("Home Invasion: Protecting Your Family in a Culture that’s Gone Stark Raving Mad").

Not that the right wing makes its dough by peddling fear, or anything.

(P.S.  I wonder just how many "vice presidents" the Heritage Foundation has.)
