I see, so it was “degeneracy” that created the Nazis. The Nazis had to kill all the Jews, because of all the degeneracy. It wasn’t the Nazi’s fault, it was the degeneracy. So it’s the Jews fault, which is why Savage had to convert to Catholicism, because of all the gay Jewish Nazis.

Makes perfect sense, if you stay up taking speed and yelling at people for 3 days.

This guy is a sicko, and he does not have one American value on his side.

I don’t think that economy alone was excuse for Hitler though. And certainly not the Weimar republic’s so-called excesses. I got the impression that the depression was global, and countries like China suffered from hyperinflation as well. Other countries were no strangers to “excesses” either. Legend has it that 20s/30s Shanghai would make 20/30s Berlin pretty tame. So I wonder if the rise of ideological driven governments, like facism was the cause.I guess I need to brush up on my history.

What kind of people are these? This O’Reilly and “Savage” and Limbaugh? And the churl Hannity? This army of paid professional liars? Do they think they’re having a practical joke on humanity? Are they mentally ill? Or have they sunk so low that in the quest for wealth they’ll tell lie after lie, day after day, year after year? How could a sane person do that? They couldn’t believe what they preach, and, yes, I mean preach – listen to Glenn Beck some time, for as long as you can take it. He’s a preacher for the cause of nonsense – the same old crap over and over. There’ve always been habitual liars, but God Damn, have they been paid so well for purposefully lying before now? Put before the public to brainwash the public for deliberately evil ends?
The focus should be a bit higher, since every day, they all have the same bullet points they hammer away at. Anybody got any insight about that? On the same day this fall, the “elite” charge came out all over. So did “terrorist.” So did “celebrity.” Do you suppose Karl Rove sends out an email telling them what outrages them today? Who is putting these people behind microphones?

I’ve tried, but I don’t understand.

So a tolerant society is what brought about HGitler? Not the heavy economic burdens laid on by the post-WW1 sanctions? Not the added collapse of German society brought upon by the Great Depression and the vast chasm between rich and poor?

It’s because the Weimar Republic wasn’t intolerant against Jews, women, gypsys, intellectuals, and new art, music and scientific discoveries.

Being tolerant led to people like…well…Michael Savage?

Michael Weiner is a comedic performer whose satirical character Michael Savage acts to gather and expose America’s hatemongers. Society is improved when scum is apparent and visible, endangered when it festers in hiding. Thank you Mr. Weiner for reflecting, without disguise, the worst among us.

Actually, since he uses two bridges to get over to Jack London Square where the radio station is located in Oakland, we just need to find him and toss him over into the Bay… cept that would be pollution on a major scale. Drat!!
Anyway, he lives in Marin county, one of the most liberal and wealthy counties in CA, if not the country. So he really enjoys the lifestyle he derides.

It is SO obvious that Weiner-Savage is a closet case. It is most obvious in his obsession with gays. (Many others are, too.) Mentally healthy, well-adjusted people don’t need to deny rights — and OBSESS on sex. Any sex. But on top of that, where does he choose to live? Yeah, that’s right. The Gay Capital of the U.S. (I don’t know where Weiner-Savage is FROM but it ain’t from around here, with that accent. I would guess NY?)
