I have this theory that Michael Savage’s primary purpose in life is to make Rush Limbaugh look tolerant and sane. Here, let me show you what I mean:
Well, socially, we’re far worse — more degenerate than Weimar Germany. At least in Weimar Germany, men couldn’t marry men and women couldn’t marry women. So we’re probably 10 leagues below the degeneracy that brought about Hitler. We’re probably 50 leagues below the degeneracy that brought about Hitler. We are the sickest, most disgusting country on the earth, and we are… psychotic as a nation.
It’s a psychotic nation when the attorney general of the state of California, when the senator from the state of California named Dianne Feinstein, when the governor from the state of California who posed as a strongman gets up there and says that homosexuals have a right to marry that’s equal to a man and a woman, they’re insane. They are fundamentally insane.
Got that? The fact that there was opposition to Prop 8, that there are actually people who – gasp – believe that gay people should have the same right as everyone else, means that we are the most degenerate country in the world, and that the moral backlash from righteous people like Michael Savage will almost certainly lead to the second coming of Adolf Hitler. Awesome.
In fact, gay marriage is so terrible that it’s actually the single biggest problem that America has, and all our other problems are merely a symptom of our horrific amoral gay tolerance:

Why does Michael Savage hate America?

Savage is nothing but hate radio. We need to find out who the sponsors are and go to work on them. He is sick and twisted and harmful. We can do something about him if we are willing to work on it.

I’ve never heard Savage (or Rush, for that matter). But I’ve heard Michael Reagan on cable. He not only says ridiculously hateful stuff but he seems quite stupid. Low IQ kind of stupid. He also seems like he’s spending his life trying to become his father. It’s pathetic, actually.

Why do conservatives hate America?
Sure and I’ll look for an exact copy of that 80s t-shirt I used to wear as a pre-teeny bopper. I’m sure I’ll find it.
I don’t hate because I don’t believe in it but Bush is right at the top of my “detest” list. I suppose they are okay with leaving now since they have drained the treasury and destroyed almost everything else. From time to time this picture pops into my head of a devastated America and it looks like something in Stephen King’s “The Stand.”
To me, the really striking thing about this is that Savage is pro-Hitler. In his logic, Hitler was not a monster who played on the prejudices and resentments of his country to seize and maintain power, the “degeneracy” the Nazis railed against was real, and if the German people had been moral and not degenerate, they wouldn’t have brought it on themselves.
Makes me want to study up on Mike Stark’s methods of getting through on RW talk shows, so I could ask Savage Wiener which part of the German “degeneracy” he thinks was so bad — the Jews? They Gypsies?

Like most humor, it’s not funny to eveyone, so its not funny at all. This reads like an excuse for the profitable bad behaviour.
So a tolerant society is what brought about HGitler? Not the heavy economic burdens laid on by the post-WW1 sanctions? Not the added collapse of German society brought upon by the Great Depression and the vast chasm between rich and poor?

What kind of people are these? This O’Reilly and “Savage” and Limbaugh? And the churl Hannity? This army of paid professional liars? Do they think they’re having a practical joke on humanity? Are they mentally ill? Or have they sunk so low that in the quest for wealth they’ll tell lie after lie, day after day, year after year? How could a sane person do that? They couldn’t believe what they preach, and, yes, I mean preach – listen to Glenn Beck some time, for as long as you can take it. He’s a preacher for the cause of nonsense – the same old crap over and over. There’ve always been habitual liars, but God Damn, have they been paid so well for purposefully lying before now? The focus should be a bit higher, since every day, they all have the same bullet points they hammer away at. Anybody got any insight about that? I got the impression that the depression was global, and countries like China suffered from hyperinflation as well. Other countries were no strangers to “excesses” either. Legend has it that 20s/30s Shanghai would make 20/30s Berlin pretty tame. So I wonder if the rise of ideological driven governments, like facism was the cause.I guess I need to brush up on my history.
