I remember the old Brill’s Content (though I never knew if the title was a declaration of satisfaction or what it contained) that rated the talking heads for accuracy of facts and predictions. And there were a couple of women on the Sunday yakfests who always scored highest. And George Will was always right on the bottom, with that McLaughlin guy or somebody.

Which is all to say, I would choose Rachel and her friends to the exclusion of all the boys and be very satisfied with broadcast news, whereas no combo of the suits would suffice.

She didn’t challenge any of the BLATANT LIES he’s been hawking about gay marriage.

In times like these “civility” is for wimps.

I’m pretty sure Rachel didn’t forget that she’s a lesbian during the Huckabee interview. She adheres to the view that her role is to facilitate civil discourse. Not necessarily make nice, but be civil.

Great Job Jane, as always.
A breath of fresh air.

I agree about Obama and centrist. Throughout the primary I was amazed at how many seemed to think he was the most progressive pol to ever come down the pike.
It isn’t difficult to do research and look at records. A simple and quick search of one or two of the non partisan sites that do analysis of Congress makes it pretty clear.
He has been rated as “rank and file” Democrat.

Ironically according to the analysis Hillary Clinton is to the left of Obama. govtrack.us calls her “far left.”

Anyway, great to see you- a refreshing break from the professional hate-mongers and self important opinionators (tech term)that have been a constant source of frustration the last couple of years.

Now that would be delightful.

And not only does she make sense when she speaks but I can actually understand what she is saying– not to name any names or anything.

Bush kept Tenet and then Tenet took a fall and later Bush gave the Presidential Metal of Freedom to him. If the wars don’t go well I guess Gates would be blamed. Maybe a smart move. Also, if BO keeps a few people from Bush adm maybe he’ll be able to get info he wouldn’t other wise be able to get on Bush.
