These kind of ads backfired big time on Liddy Dole in NC. Part of the reason, IMO, was that Hagan fired right back at Liddy in the press, and in an ad.

Hopefully, Jim Martin will do the same.

Okay, so these votes are 15-20 years old and I want to know the context to pushback against it.

What gets me about this race is there are no signs of moderation from Chambliss. He is up in the poles by 3-5% from what I can tell. I would think that anyone who is so close to losing would not be running these types of ads. Democrats in Georgia routinely run closer to republicans when they are in close elections but republicans here don’t even attempt to moderate their views. Instead they go deeper and deeper into their base.

With a name like ‘Saxby”, you know the guy’s a certifiable creep.
