A reporter for the Florida Times-Union asked him about his refusal to honor a subpoena in the Imperial Sugar wrongful death lawsuit. Chambliss can be heard saying, "You can take it away now" as he pushes the camera away.
Very dignified behavior from a sitting US Senator, isn’t it?
Chambliss, getting increasingly desperate to hold on to his Senate seat, has also resorted to gay-bashing fliers.
While Chambliss himself hasn’t attacked Martin directly on gay issues, the National Republican Senatorial Committee mailed a flier claiming Martin should “take his show on the road” on “Left Wing Air.”
“San Francisco would hold a parade in his honor,” the flier claims, next to a cartoon rainbow, noting that among other issues, Martin “opposes banning gay marriage.”

i wonder if martin really has a chance there. would be nice. ga is a tough nut to crack.
Thank God Obama finally recorded an ad for Martin–about time!!
Once again, I smell fear.
I live in Atlanta and I don’t hold much hope for Martin. I think a lot of folks that came out for Obama won’t make it to the recount.
I hope I’m wrong. Saxby is a lizard brain.
Reid should test Lieberman’s loyalty and send him down here to campaign for Martin. The cognitive dissonance would cause deputy dog’s head to implode.
recount = runoff, in case you didn’t know
let’s say martin does fail. at least we have set the stage for next time around and reduced the thug coffers a bit.

I’m not sure I agree. Obama lost Georgia. I think Bill Clinton carries a lot more weight down there than Obama.
Obviously others disagreed with me, because he did make the commercial.
Agree.
In the peach state, coming unhinged on a reporter and grabbing a camera is probably just part of the GOP’s plan for GOTV.
OT, my guess is a lot of the people who will drive Saxby’s voters to the polls are members of the Klan.
Thanks BT.
What a putz!!!!!!!
“recount = runoff, in case you didn’t know”
This cannot be right. In a run-off, everyone has to vote again. In a recount, no one votes again; the original ballots are just counted again, but with more care and oversight.
Georgia is a run-off;
Minnesota is a recount.

Whoops, forgot my ; )
Thanks for clarifying that for the home folks.
I’m back to lurking again.
Go Martin!
Nice to see gay marriage make an appearance, again, in a campaign that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. Way to stay classy, NRSC.
