Obi is a politician and he speaks with forked tongue I suspect.

The people want change not musical chairs. Stop with the dumb children’s games and act like a grown up.

The people did not ask for bi partisanship or an end to bickering in the beltway. They asked for a clean sweep and change the system. Get it?

This was not a mandate for the same old same old or the rise of the loser democrats over the worse republicans.

All I have been hearing over the last few days is bitching. I just have to say, how sad. Did we not get Obama elected? Does that not mean we can get anything done? Does it not mean that we can get who we want elected to accomplish whatever it is we think important? I say yes we can! Obama didn’t get it done, we did. I say we can get it done again. It is up to us, as it always has been. If we work together we can accomplish anything!

Kristol, Rush, Savage, Hannity and Barone will blow themselves up. At the end of the day the winners take something, the losers just bitch, and bitch and bitch. Their listners become less, and less and less interested in what they have to say if it is not a winning strategy. People want to be part of the WINNERS. this is a fact. That is why Obama is letting some of the losers think they have a chance with the winning team. Lull your enemies into a sense of false security. Let folks believe that have something new to believe in…

FWIW, the SOFA still has to be approved by the Iraqi parliament before the end of the year. If it does not pass, things get interesting. Bush et al haven’t any paper to cover their (better) parts, it becomes war crimes time for every day they remain in Iraq until Obama assumes office. Then times get even more interesting if agreement to withdraw isn’t forthcoming, the same war crimes become Obama’s baby as well.

About the CT Democrats article. There’s a lot of willy-nilly there as well. Lieberman actually held hands with Nancy Johnson, called Chris Shays a “national treasure,” and was probably part of that group that played the nauseating non-stop propaganda ads targeted against Chris Murphy and Joe Courtney. The leadership sucks here. Minding Joe, will only cause more of a split in the party.

Morning.
And down the toobz!

—–On Lieberman: Quotables
Via Hartford Courant:
“Clearly, Joe has a long ways to go in rebuilding a real working relationship of trust,” said former state Senate Majority Leader George Jepsen. “I think he’s pretty much written Connecticut Democrats off. I think he’s mostly concerned with his relationships down in D.C.”
And

Moving on was what the caucus leadership seemed to want Tuesday. Reid said, “We feel that what happened today has put this behind us. We’re looking forward; we’re not looking back.” And even Sanders said there’s a lot of work to do and “we all have to move on and work together.”

That’s not quite good enough for Myrna Watanabe, one of the members of the Connecticut Democratic central committee that has called for Lieberman to leave the Democratic Party — of which he’s still a registered member. She was unimpressed with Tuesday’s Senate action.

“It’s nothing. He didn’t even get his hand slapped,” Watanabe said. The Senate’s decision was political pragmatism, she argued, but it hasn’t changed her mind about the resolution of censure that she and another member are pushing at a Dec. 17 committee meeting.

“The bottom line,” she said, “is Joe is useless to us as Democrats in the state of Connecticut.”

If we don’t get rid of him, he’ll continue to undermine the CT state dems.
