When one reviews Joe Lieberman’s comments,statements,positions and record regarding “bipartisanship” just how “bipartisan” in spirit or conduct was what he did at GOP convention?

For all of Joe’s platitudes about/over the need for “bipartisanship” he sure seems to have sawed the plank he calls “bipartisanship” on which he was standing in half.

Being the citizens of CT seem ready to make Joe walk the plank anyway why are Senate Dems going in the other direction?

Ned Lamont did win the 2006 Democratic Primary in CT. Joe decided he was not going to let that voter outcome stop him. Joe seems to take his being the “incumbent” quite seriously. Seems the Dems in Senate are more concerned about the cozy little “club” they enjoy so much than where Joe is headed back in CT.

Shout out to U.S.Senate Dems–Take a look around–is Joe the guy you really want to go forward with?

Yup. And we should also consider “honor and integrity” when considering Lieberman’s claim to the chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee.

What should be done is patently obvious and it’s obvious to everyone except those who live to perpetuate at all cost the club-like traditions of the U.S. Senate.

Obama has sent the signal by refusing to take Joe’s call.

Now, if the Dems don’t remove Holy Joe from the Homeland Security committee, they’re going to get a refresher course on how “Holy Joe” got that nickname, as he investigates the Obama Administration to his wee heart’s content.
