I hate to see too much emphasis on academic credentials because it leaves too many people that have none (me) feeling like we’re not invited to the party. You start leaving out the poor and the disabled and the working class and you basically become the right wing.
Let’s not become the elitists that we’ve been accused of for so long.
Palin is not an idiot because she doesn’t have an excellent education or an alphabet to follow her name. She’s an idiot because she chooses to be one.
And, yes I have a full basement which is finished and I don’t blog from there. But, my son did when he lived at home. It didn’t make him stupid or less relevant. It made him out of my way. ;)

Well I say leave it up to Atlantic Monthly conservativesoul Andrew Sullivan on Palin. No one on the left trashed her half so much, nor a third so relentlessly (and it might serve as a salutory innoculation to think on how he continues to be obsessed with her tiniest peccadillo), and the worst stories told about her came out on FOX news.

But Palin is a basketball player; she talks trash. Personally, though, when she gets onto her high horse, doesn’t that mouth kinda look like Heath Ledger’s Joker? I think Doonesbury should create a character with just that ugly lipstick grimace that coms to two sharp points on either side at the bottom.

The tide is turning, Jane; just a little over a week ago, they were saying that Barack Obama wasn’t fit to be President of the United States; I even got one email from a conservative co worker demanding that people know that Obama never really went to Columbia or Harvard or taught at the University of Chicago. Misuenderstimation: the byword of the right.

Sarah is just miffed that, for the first time, ‘Obama’s Online Army’ was able to defeat the GOP’s “smear machine” AND use youtube to create some of the funniest videos showing McCain/Palin as they really are.

To defeat the GOP smear machine, Obama had his own ‘fight the smears’ operation and then, when we received copies of emails etc we were able to go viral with the snopes/urban legend info when they were simply repeats from a few months back or brand new b.s. being put out there.

Sarah, see you again in 2012 !
