Regarding Palin’s personality disorder: am in total agreement. She reminds me of a middle-aged version of Britney Spears, someone who must seek attention even in negative ways if necessary, but dumb as a box of bricks. Typical for a greedy woman who uses beauty instead of brains to get what she wants. Now we are finding out (via Faux News! Unreal!) how truly clueless Palin was, not knowing the countries in North America and thinking Africa was a country. She can’t return with her brood to Alaskan obscurity soon enough.

don’t know about UCF but I believe it. alot of te people who showed up at my precinct were kids who commute. alot My district and the neigboring one got rid of R congressmen–Feeney & Keller. Sorry to hear about your Congressional candidate. You worked your ass off for him. 2nd time might be better. it was for Grayson.

Is it too soon to for the Democratic public to start asking for their ‘health care’ and ‘infrastructure jobs’ and to ‘end the wars’?..no?

The job for us changes only slightly.

Now that we don’t have to waste time recoiling from the ‘horror o’ the day’ from the White House, we can instead spend time constructively pushing our agenda forward.

It should be made clear to Nancy & Co. that 2 years from now “Republicans wouldn’t let us” will not be an acceptable answer to the above issues.

Except for Hillsborough County. Buddy Johnson has once again shown he’s not up for the task. Roughly 40,000 votes not yet counted. Phyllis Busansky, in her 70s, ran against him and so far is about 3000 votes behind.

Pinellas County Commission now all Rethug. There are more registered Dems than Rethugs but the Dems just can’t get anybody elected to anything higher than the school board, where we put 2 Dems this time around. All the big money comes from Sembler and friends so the Dems are at a disadvantage out of the gate. Gotta figure out a way to finance Dem candidates here.

Yes, Alachua County went 60% for Obama, so I’m assuming the students came out but I haven’t seen the numbers yet. I heard that UCF students came out in force; there were stories of the line at the UCF arena.

My Congressional candidate won the county (but by a narrow margin, no Obama coattails, dangit) but lost the district by a lot. He’s going to run again, so we get two years instead of a few months to work on the campaign this time.
