I have already divorced Maia. No money for my local NPR stations this year until a noticeable change in their White House coverage.

All, done with good conscious as all disposable income went to the O-B campaign.

Here’s the justification:
Does public radio deserve my support? Yes. Are they suffering from abused wife syndrome after 8 years of Repub. bosses beating up on them? Yes. Has supporting them notwithstanding for 8 years made a difference? No. Will showing them in an election year that they do not have a hold on the public good worthy of my modest contribution, as I tell each volunteer whenever they call.
Wait and see. I’m hoping that it’s
you betcha.

They seldom seem to use e-mail questions; makes ya wonder if they don’t prefer having audience being able to hear the nuts and non-nuts in person (a la talk radio) :-(( Lots of the people calling in may very well not have net access so it’s fair to them but, still and all the same, WJ would get in lots more questions if the moderator read them (no one gets to rant on seemingly forever).

Little OT but this needs to be mentioned,
A black church in Springfield Mass was burned a few hours after the vote was announced.
No idea what the cause was ,hoping it was accidental but you know some people suck!!

I don’t think about it as sabotage, but rather a logical extension of YOYO (you’re on your own) style that Rs have been pushing for the past 8 years. Everyone on the staff did whatever it took for them to get to the top of the heap. And since McCain was not authoritarian enough to keep them in their places, chaos resulted.

Have you all seen the report that John Kerry wants Secy of State? I still can’t look at him w/o remembering him going duck hunting. Pandering to the right, dressed in hunter’s garb, looking like a complete jackass. I haven’t liked him since.
