Hey Steve, maybe President Obama will institute programs to put clean rewewable energy into all Gov buildings and doing so would save the tax payers lots of money from the expensive energy they are using now. Also, he might green up the buildings in other ways since conservation of the energy used is where the big part of savings is. Going green saves on the pocketbook and help heal our world too.

I am half way through Wm Kemp’s “The Renewable Energy Handbook: A Guide to Rural Energy Independence, Off-Grid and Sustainable Living” and it is an awesome book. Renewable energy and conservation go hand in hand and he does an excellent job of explaining it from what I’ve read so far.

Why so quick? Here in California they now have to give you sixty days to move and if you push it you can extend that by several months just to piss them off and you don’t pay rent and make them go to small claims court to try and get their money!! Tenants here can really screw the landlord if they want to!

Those 2 sure do need to be unionized. 5 of the top 10 billionaires are from the Walmart families. Money made on the back fo their workers for underpaying them and their shoppers for overcharging them. The divide between the rich and poor is because of these two issues here. Underpayed employees and overcharged products. Same with big oil. And we are overcharges for Microsoft products. No one needs the amount of money they have.

Thanks sunshine! Well I would say if you GET snow you would have to remove it for the panels to work properly… Just get one of those rubber brooms and just sweep the snow off. But here in California I just need to use the hose and spray them off once in a while and Solar City will tell me the output has dropped and to wash them off. You can also see for yourself the output via the internet! In my case they also are replacing my 1954 vintage fuse box with a brand spanking new one. They are also upgrading my service to 200 amps.. Which also helps save money by reducing the resistance of the wiring to the house! I guess the only draw back is it doesn’t come with batteries for the evening as the batteries are still very expensive!

My hope is for 30% to 50% percent of the people to go renewable energy and that would bring down energy prices. Even if Franken gets seated in January, the Minnesota DFL (Democratic Farmer Labor) Party needs to adress the cancer on Minnesota politics that is the third party fascist stalking horse that got ‘em Jessie Bullethead Ventura as Governor, Coleman the first time (along with the assasination of Paul Wellstone) and Palwenty as governor twice with under 50% of the vote! The Independence Party is a creation of the old Minnesota Republican elite who had been rapidly squeezed out of the state party by the whackos and wingnuts in the 1980’s…by the ’90’s it had become clear that it would only be possible to break the DFL strength statewide and in the House of Representatives in particular by runnin’ a third party to drain off 15-20% of the old DFL constituency that was uncomfortable bein identified as “liberal” in the 1980’s. The national fascistpolitical novacain of “there is not a dime’s worth of difference between the parties” landed Vessie Ventura in the Goverorship and Al Tincklenberg in the Dept. of Transportation and Dean Barkly in the Statehouse as chief of staff (or some such nonsense) and then in the Senate to serve out Wellstone’s term until the election.

Minjnesota has been strapped with radical wingnut political leadership in the state ever since the Barkleys and the Tinklenbergs came up with Governor Baldy…and even if Franken slips into the seat, the DFL is gunna hafta do a cage match with the Independence Party if they’re gunna survive.

Harry Reid and Holy Joe are gonna have a little chat about Liebermans committee chairmanship.

I think we all need to let Harry know what we expect him to say and do.
