Over at Campaign Silo it is reported that some voting machines have broken down in PA and voters are filling out paper ballots. Voters are being told those paper votes will only be provisional votes. The author (Beyerstein) is asking for info from anyone who knows about election law in PA that rules in this situation. Probably federal law would rule since it’s a fed election.

Anyone here that can advise over there?

Not strange that it’s PA, huh?? Crucial state.

My wager is they call KY for McCain at 7:01 Eastern which will be about the only lead McCain has in the Electoral vote all night.

But they won’t be able to call Indiana (or the Kentucky Senate race) that quickly.

Yeah, but at least by then they’ll have analysis beginning and results will start coming in — even if they won’t call the state.

Living in Indiana, I’ll know how things are breaking as different districts report. If Obama pulls surprising numbers in heavily Republican areas I’ll know things are going our way.

It would be very difficult to underestimate this lady’s intelligence. And if the Republican Party has so marginalized itself that Sarah really does speak for the majority of its members, they will need many years to recover from this.

They also need to remember that the American people are looking for new solutions to the country’s problems. If they don’t want to be part of the solution, they may end up being considered THE Problem.

Side note: I was watching the 800th episode of WWE Raw last night and had all but forgotten that Sean Hannity was one of the first “commentators” the World Wrestlign Federation had hired when they went national.

That explains a LOT!

I doubt if we’ll get any calls even at 6PM Eastern as the two states that close polls at 6, also have central time zone voters going until 7PM Eastern

When is 6:00 p.m. EST going to get here so we can start seeing some results?

And yes, I know the technical answer to that question. It was intended more as an exclamation than a question.
