Just heard from a friend who dropped off our button making machine to the downtown Phoenix Obama campaign office…. she said it was amazing….

There were 100’s of people working, making phone calls, in the office, they were out front, in the back and side yards, sitting on the floor, on their cars, every where making calls and they were happy and laughing……

THATS McCain’s home state and home city…… hahahahahaha

As sad as this moment is, I would suggest that anyone who has questioned Barack Obamas ability to lead under adverse circumstances, that question just got answered.

Imagine what the man has gone through today…..

There is a bittersweet peace to knowing that Barack’s birth family are reunited at this so important time. And that we, the American family, have opened our hearts and minds to him and his message of hope.

She died in her sleep… between 3am and 4am…

When I watched Barack talk about his Grand Mother I could feel his pain yet he kept going and is a great example of a leader who forges ahead no matter what. He was heroic in the way he spoke of her you could feel the love he has for her. She did a really good job raising Barack and his sister. As many of that generation did!!

ET, I hope you get a really good President for your birthday! Thanks so much for your endless, tireless work!!

Thanks. I had a wonderful conversation with a Black woman who works in a nursing home where I have clients….it was really holy to hear her confidence in Obama and the hope/change it all represents for a lovely woman of a certain age. I felt really privileged she was so open and really optimistic and visionary about what he can do for our country. With those happy thoughts, I going to bed.

McCain said a weird thing today on the radio…… he said he was finishing his campaign in Prescott AZ…… that it was kind of traditional….. that Goldwater used to finish everyone of his campaigns there…….

The thing that is so suspicious here is that Palin is described as a perfectly healthy woman. If this is so, then why are the full records not being made available?

What an amazing election. Have been reading around the blogs and this has brought out the patriotism in just about everyone – even The Rude Pundit. Some of the writers just bring tears for the hopes and dreams that everyone seems to have now.

They’ve been playing that stupid thing in michigan too. I don’t think it’s working at all. I ignored the stupid thing, and my new roommates are 1st time voters in their 20s. :D They’re all for Obama and were before i met them. One of them was asking me about the Voter ID issues here in this state. (in other words, be prepared. bring redundant ID.) This on the other hand, is my 4th Presidential election to vote in, i look forward to it. Waiting in line in the morning should be interesting!

All through our trip through Europe…. in France, Italy, and defiantly in Greece we were asked over and over again if we thought Obama could win…..there was a way they asked….. a lilt, a way their voice rose in hope and implying just saying it could make it happen…..

Well, the only other time they voted for a Dem was Hubert Humphrey and that didn’t turn out very well. No matter since Obama’s gonna win big.

I worry that as Liberals we have a tendency to feel compassion for those having a hard time, and I can already detect a slight feeling of pity for St. John in myself. If that happens to anyone else tomorrow, please remember all the Death and Destruction these people have brought to the world. McInsane and many of his supporters are truly vile “people.”

For all those women, men, and babies needlessly murdered by these Neocons and their “Bomb, Bomb Iran” attitude, we must figuratively bury them and their policies once and for all. Yes, we f-ing can!
