Fox approached Millican, and was willing to pay $10,000 for the full analysis. A preliminary comparison found the suggestion of one author very implausible. Fox & Millican had apparently agreed on the full analysis, but Fox withdrew when Millican insisted that the results be published regardless of the findings.
