Turning to the matter of how to pay for the clean up of the Agean stable being left behind in Washington. We spend more money than the rest of the world combined on Defense. It is long past time to seriously reassess this fact in light of our needs to meet our obligations to American Citizens.

I urge us to seriously consider reprioritizing the Budget of the Department of Defense.

1) Increase the budget of the Department of Vetrans Affairs by at least 25% per year for the next four years, taking the money directly out of the Defense budget.

2) Increase the budget for boots on the ground in training and retention.

3) Stop the use of the Defense Department Budget for Forign aid. Draw down all American Troops in Europe and Asia, reposting them to American Bases to become our actual defense force.

4) Close the Cuban abomination today! Burn it to the ground and plow salt into the sand! Order every troop off the island in 90 days.

5) Halt all civilian contracting by the Department of Defense. No more private soldiers, waiste and cost overruns. If the military needs it done then have them do it.

6) Issue a directive that the Department of Defense can only buy American goods made in America by Americans. This order should extend to the entire body of all governmental agencies.

I believe that this set of principles if implemented should generate enough funds to fully pay for health care and perhaps education as well for all Americans.

Which is why they did it and then lamented about what a bad effect it had on turnout.

Every election in this country since 1968 the GOP has tampered with. Nixon and Kissinger had Anna Chennault telling the South Vietnamese to refuse any meetings with the North Vietnamese promising them that Nixon would come through for them, a violation of the Neutrality Act, a felony.

We all know about Nixon’s ‘72 crimes (including in that time frame the hiring by RNC chairman George H W Bush of a young man named Karl Rove to work with Segretti).

The election of ‘76 didn’t provide much of an opportunity for them but they made up for it in 1980 by having Donald Gregg, Poppy Bush’s CIA friend and a member of Carter’s NSC, steal Carter’s debate prep book, in addition to illegal dealings with a foreign power to influence the American election, again a violation of the Neutrality Act.

By 1984 the Democrats had been dirtied up by the Abscam investigation and in 1988 there was the wonderful work of Atwater in producing the Horton ad.

I believe they actually wanted Clinton to get in so that he could do away with welfare and get through the GATT, NAFTA, and WTO legislation the GOP couldn’t get passed in addition to doing away with some nuisance regulatory things like Glass-Stegall.

We all know what happened in 2000 and 2004. I think the remaining three traitors on the Supreme Court should be impeached because of their interference in the 2000 election process. It was not their place to interfere and their use of the 14th amendment to give this idiot the presidency with a decision that they stated could not be used as precedent was a disgrace.

This country should rise up in protest if they try anything on Tuesday.

You know what I don’t like about these kind of ‘predictions’ - it’s stops things. As in the 1980 election - remember that? I do. We’re in the West and the race had been called for Reagan before my husband had gotten off work and gone to vote. The polls were 4 hours or so from closing here. When I talked to him about it, it was still LIGHT outside.

Predicting a ‘blow-out’ is pantamount to telling people to stay home, we don’ t need your vote.

They made mention of the impossible, that somehow McCain could “win” on Tuesday. They talked about what would happen if such an unlikely outcome were to occur, but nobody mentioned what would ACTUALLY happen if the Republicans try to steal this one.

I’m holding out for a Dem majority of 70, based on 8-12 Republicans switching sides after the election. Sure it’s an absurd fantasy but I can dream for a couple more days…

Hopefully, history will judge the real Bush legacy to be the destruction of the Republic Party.

That’s just the cherry on a crap sundae. Unprovoked invasion and occupation of another country, shredding the Constitution and ruining the reputation of the United States are the primary ingredients.
