I find it shocking how many stupid people are out there.

Really.

I usually don’t throw ’stupid’ around much, but when I listen to the reasons people give for supporting McCain and even more so Palin, nothing else comes to mind.

Republicans have fucked up this country for the last 30 years, reaching a crescendo over the last eight.

They shouldn’t get elected dog catcher, let alone POTUS, Senator, or Representative.

And now they give us a person who says she’s got foreign policy cred because she can see Russia from her state.

Forget everything else — the Gibson and Couric interviews, etc.

That statement alone should not allow any sane person who puts ‘country first’ to vote for McCain.

I mean, the stupid people go for anything.

Why is the national media even talking about some guy named Sam who goes around as ‘Joe’ and calls himself a plumber but doesn’t even have plumber’s license?

What’s more, for all of his cursing of Obama, he’d do far better under him than McSame probably for the rest of his fake, sorry life.

But no, McCain’s going around Ohio introducing this heap of dung as “an American hero”, and people are tripping over themselves to get his autograph.

It’s like I tripped and fell into some sort of alternative, Bizzaro universe.
