I keep saying seniors (depression/wwii generation) are the ticket. They can put us “kids” to shame with their can-do spirit and energy when they work on a campaign.

Thanks Selise. it’s a beautiful morning in the BlueState, where, since the end of baseball, the only red to be seen is on the maples. Hope it is the same red in your bluish thereabouts.

Charles, I’m with you. My first vote was for Lyndon Johnson, though the Vietnam War really did him in for me. I have never voted for a Republican for President….only a couple of times for much of anything else. My son-in-law explained to me what a “yellow-dog” Democrat was….someone who would vote for a yellow dog if the Democrats ran one. I realized that I probably am a YDD. The last eight years have made me proud to be one.

The Republicans in my district crossed over in the primary and nominated the worst Democrat running for Representative. He still beats the awful, psalm-singing weiner the Republicans are running…so he gets my vote.

Hooray for yellow dogs.
