Hope so. Just my opinion. Barack seems to be doing pretty good so far without my advice, though, so you’re probably right.

DKos tracking poll is showing a 6 point race. McCain has been climbing slowly but surely the last 10 days. The individual state polls are looking good but still a concern with the dailies.

I’ve given up on NPR or National Propaganda Radio. During Watergate they were a beacon of honesty and truth. Since the Republicans took over it’s been abysmal. Kookie Cokie, Mara Liasson et al have been compromised. As H.L. Mencken once said, “you can’t expect someone to know something when their paycheck is dependent on them not knowing” or something close to that.

Amy has been the only one to cover the Ohio voter/election fraud case,King Lincoln Bronzeville. She did a great job addressing the McCain campaign issue of paying 1 million to hire Mr. Connell, Bush computer wiz, tied to election manipulation in 2004. Mr. Connell has been subpoenaed and he is avoiding it.

Many would like to demand in the mainstream media that McCain fire him and make him respond to the subpoena before the election.

The language in the media right now and coming from the McCain camp of the campaign suddenly becoming close in key states, literally in one day, makes me believe the fix is in and done wonderfully by Mr. Connell.

We need to make this a BIG issue.

democracy now!

listened to npr (and not just isn the mornings) and supported npr for about 20 years. but gave up on them a few years ago, the reporting has gotten so filled with propaganda. imo, amy goodman and democracy now! is the best daily news program.

You are obviously deprived of a community radio station. Try this.

The best little radio station on the planet. Always on the extreme left…of your radio dial. (Actual spot)

If Obama’s 30 minutes is not focused on him but on the people who are working for change, like the Charles video Attaturk posted, the 30 minutes could be quite powerful. If Obama gives the focus to the people the “It’s not about me, it’s about you,”then the ad time will be quite a success. A documentary on the people organizing at the grassroots and Obama thanking everyone for working for Democracy’s future, would be quite powerful.

As a rule, I listen to NPR in the morning to avoid the commercials and to enjoy usually better reporting. But if NPR goes anymore republican in their political reporting, I may go back to commercials just to get a non-biased political report. I am writing my local PBS station, and let them know, if they want any donations from me, they need to tell NPR to stop their bias toward republican politicians. And they (NPR) are doing this, even when the funding was has been cut by “republicans” when they held the congress. Go figure.
