During Watergate they were a beacon of honesty and truth. Since the Republicans took over it’s been abysmal. Kookie Cokie, Mara Liasson et al have been compromised. As H.L. She did a great job addressing the McCain campaign issue of paying 1 million to hire Mr. Connell, Bush computer wiz, tied to election manipulation in 2004. If Obama gives the focus to the people the “It’s not about me, it’s about you,”then the ad time will be quite a success. But if NPR goes anymore republican in their political reporting, I may go back to commercials just to get a non-biased political report. I am writing my local PBS station, and let them know, if they want any donations from me, they need to tell NPR to stop their bias toward republican politicians. And they (NPR) are doing this, even when the funding was has been cut by “republicans” when they held the congress.
