Joe “Quavering Sanctimony” Lieberman, responding to local media questions about McCain’s smear campaigning:
"You look at some of things that both Senator Obama and (vice presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Joseph) Biden have said about McCain. One could say they’re intemperate," Lieberman said.
He then went on to chide the media for "the demeaning of our politics by this kind of focus."
Calling your opponent a terrorist is a little more than “intemperate,” Joe. If you had anything remotely resembling the mighty moral compass that you pretend to have, you would recognize that there is absolutely no equivalence here. You smarmy, dishonest little tick.

Lieberman threw his integrity out the window a very long time ago.
Brain bleach stat!
More like a bleach inhaler!!
That pic is disturbing. Just think he could have been McCain’s VP selection and we’d be forced to listen to his mendacity and look at that droopy dawg face every day. One small victory to celebrate.
Ack! My eyes!
Yep, that’s one good thing I can say about Sarah Palin: Better-looking than Joe Lieberman.
There’s going to be an amazing line of Democrats outside the majority leaders office to apply for Holy Joes committee seats.
Boxturtle (And a longer one to see who personally throws Joe under the bus)
Thanks for this…just asking: Does anyone else have to start the day? Have a good one.
“You look at some of things that both Senator Obama and (vice presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Joseph) Biden have said about McCain. One could say they’re intemperate,” Lieberman said.
So the Democrats have become “they”?
You smarmy, dishonest little
tickdick.Ok everyone, repeat after me…
60 seats, 60 seats, 60 seats…
So that after his term this a-hole can go lobby or think tank himself out of my life.
Joe’s compass has no needle.
Yeah, but you could say that about just about anyone. See example.

Dishonest little… tick? Are you self-censoring, Eli?
Just think he could have been McCain’s VP selection and we’d be forced to listen to his mendacity and look at that droopy dawg face every day.
McLame is still pissed because they were gonna alternate “nap days”.
I think it’s in his pants…
Would I ever do that? No, “tick” just felt right to me for some reason.
I don’t think I will go there…
I think it’s in his pants…
‘Needle-tick”?
umm – close.
I don’t think *anyone* does.

Joe has one real allegiance
STRONG DOllAR is its name
We’re busy today planning our election party…..democrats only invitation list. Just ordered a fresh box of cigars and will pick up a few bottles of bubbly for the winning moment.
In the presidential race, we’ll be watching fourteen “battleground” states.
New Hampshire 4
Pennsylvania 21
Florida 27
North Carolina 15
Virginia 13
Ohio 20
Indiana 11
Iowa 7
Missouri 11
North Dakota 3
Montana 3
Colorado 9
New Mexico 5
Nevada 5
We’ll start Obama with 227 Electoral votes and add until we get to 270 when the champagne corks will pop (we hope). 43 EVs until bubble time.
OT – Judge’s order says residency can’t be challenged solely on foreclosure or eviction lists
A pre-election lawsuit over the potential use of foreclosure or eviction lists to challenge voters at the polls fizzled Friday after Marion County Democrats and Republicans agreed the tactic would be off-limits.

the scary thing is that holy Joe looks better in the photoshop than the real thing…just saying
Irony will be that Lieberman will lose his committee chair and not have a party. Even the Repugs will realize they need to distance themselves from Joe — Joe The Political Hack!
Joe Political Poison,works for me
The only place Joe will remain relevant is in his own mind.
I really hope so, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
Morning, Eli.
Soon, very soon, RGJoe’s vote in the Senate will be meaningless. I’m not looking forward to watching him attempt a climb back to relevance, except for the groveling part. What a canker sore of a man.
Joe Political Poison,works for me
Joe the
PlumberTraitor?yes wheres my manners, good afternoon Eli!

So when is RG Joe up for re-election? is it 2010 or 2012?
I’m looking forward to the grovelling.
2012. Sigh.
Obama’s microphone just went stone dead while speaking in Nevada.
Did that chick that faked being beat up get bailed out or something?
The entertainment value alone would be worth it.
How do the people of CT feel about Joe these days?
Scarecrow upstairs, with a Frum…
Voter’s remorse.
im teh sick of all of it
Ok that means we have to neuter him…… make irrelevant…… make his senate life trailing after the totally powerless repugs….
Bah hahahahahaha! Love the picture, Eli!!!!!!! Too freaking funny.
“Thank God, she’s not gonna have to be president from day one, because McCain’s going to be alive and well,” Lieberman said in a conference call with reporters.
Lieberman said he was confident that Palin, whose foreign policy background has been questioned by Democrats, could step in and handle the chief executive’s job.
“If, God forbid, an accident occurs or something of that kind, she’ll be ready,” Lieberman said. “She’s had executive experience. She’s smart and she will have had on-the-job training.”
Lieberman added that if Democrat Barack Obama wins the White House, he would support his presidency.
Aftern Jan. 20th Lieberman’s political career is over, in the U.S.. He will be free to run for a seat in the Knesset.
