  • So now Scott McClellan is black, too?
  • And so is William Weld.
  • Even the Anchor Baby doubts the McSame "hate crime."
  • Confronted with her $150K wardrobe, Palin claims she's "frugal."
  • And guarantees a win in PA. (Yes, PA.)
  • Palin's cronyism: jobs for donors.
  • I thought Obama had a "Jewish problem."
  • Obama up 7 in Florida.
  • Headline to love: "McCain on life support."
  • Another exiting day on Wall Street!

Another Fla. poll -

A new St. Petersburg Times/Bay News 9/Miami Herald poll shows Sen. Barack Obama leading McCain 49 percent to 42 percent in this state McCain cannot afford to lose. The biggest factor? Less partisan independent voters moving to Obama by a ratio of more than 2-to-1.

Exactly. Joe Scarborough (why are most of the Joe’s frauds who are connected to the McCain campaign? Huh.) still hasn’t explained why his office secretary was found dead in the office after she was gonna spill the beans about the upcoming 9/11 attack and the connections. Maybe this is why he shills for McCain and the GOP? Rather than face jail, they’ve protected him by giving him his own show all these years!

Credit crisis interfering with food supply:

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/bu.....9223.story

The tip of the iceberg. Food distribution is a delicate system, and it all runs on faith, trust and credit.

CRASH ALERT: Ugly day in the markets on tap (look out below):

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/bu.....8690.story

The rest of the world is seeing through the Treasury’s end-of-day market manipulations and are liquidating positions. I’ve never seen the PPT unable to game the futures – until today. Either the world is coming to an end, or they are letting this washout occur on purpose. They have ALWAYS been able to manipulate the Futures numbers…every single day, forever.

If the market has already technically “crashed,” do we need to invent a new word for today’s action?

Here’s what the Treasury department will attempt to pull off today…

They have all their shills lined up to scream bloody murder on CNBS until about 2:00 this afternoon, intentionally causing the panic. They will then show up and start buying massive traunches of select DOW issues sufficient to move that average north. They will stick Art Cashin’s mug on TV around 3:00 to explain that we’ve just experienced the classic panic sell off and if we rebound to close above a certain level, it’s all over, and off to the races next week. If we close in the green, Maria Buttafucco will have a screaming orgasm on live television on the floor of the exchange.

That’s the script, and the entire global economy hinges on pulling it off. Either the treasury department will end up owning all the stocks for sale for a very long time, or the CNBS reality creation machine will pull it off.

Whether or not they manage to save it today, I predict a greatest depression brought on by the total collapse of the system of credit. GOT FOOD?

Casey was on F&F. He’s a little worried about his state. Me, too. Obama wins PA, we win. Murtha didn’t help and McC is putting a lot of cash and time there. Add that to Ed Rendell’s plea. I’d like to see Obama go back to PA. Forget Florida, I don’t trust the machines.
This is presumptious, I realize, Obama’s done fine without my input.

Numbers.
Orange County, Florida. Early Voting totals (through and including wednesday=3 days)(Per Bd. of Elections website.)
Total: 24, 185
Dem 15, 065
Repub 5,060
Other 4,060

Compare to 2004–figgers for entire early voting period
Total: 79, 202
Dem 37, 604
Repub 25, 595
Other 16, 003

You guys can do all the extrapolation stuff ’cause I suck at math. But seems to me we’re way ahead turnout wise and the ratio of us-them is way higher.

From Reddit, more campaign humor. Republican election clerks are so funny as they steal our votes.

A Republican county election clerk distributed copies of an apparent chain letter referring to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama as a “young, black Adolf Hitler” to two employees but later told police she intended it to be a joke.

The employees, who had voted for Obama in Indiana’s Democratic primary, discovered the letters at their desks after returning from Labor Day weekend, Deputy Sheriff Doug Cox said in a police report made public this week. One of the workers complained, and surveillance video showed Johnson County Clerk Jill Jackson placing an item one worker’s desk at 5:27 p.m. on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, Cox said.

“She admitted to being responsible for the letter, but only did it as a joke,” Cox said. Jackson told police she had intended to speak with the workers upon returning to work but forgot.

Good Morning all….lots of coverage about the states breakdown; McCain may not have a way to put the combination together even with favorables in some of the toss-up states. Let us pray.

You are spot on!

Cashin’s been calling for capitulation for weeks now; I hope he’s happy because it’s here.

And Maria B. should have long ago been issued pom-poms, a sweater with a big NYSE on it and pleated skirt. She, among many others on that network, have been huge shills for anything these corrupt bastards have been doing the last few years (that means you Kudlow & Caruso-Cabrera), lest they be cut off from the top shelf liquor and big shrimp parties.

Not to mention access to the Hamptons galas in the summer.

Oh yes, bankrupting the government by telling Americans you don’t have to pay taxes is the best way to get revenue into our government! See? This is how neocons think and this is why when Johnny McTeleprompter says, “The rich should not have to pay taxes to spread the wealth to those who need it”, those making $18,000/year in the audience scream like little piglets!

Shameful. The neocons want America to be as strong against the world as Angola is. Angola isn’t strong, you say? Exactly!!!!

I offered up the following late yesterday; I don’t know for sure, but it may offer some insight to what’s going on this morning.

Why Congress is fiddling as the hedge funds continue to burn is way beyond me. In today’s environment it’s far, far easier to make money from fear than greed, so no matter what people say I’m convinced in their last ditch efforts to make money before the inevitable sunlight (regulation) shines into their darkened lairs, they are shorting the hell out of any stock they can get their hands on from 3-4pm everyday.

Until Congress grows a pair and regulates these a-holes, the volatility in the equity markets will continue, and the average investor (who is essential to orderly markets) will stay on the sidelines.

Interesting. There was a very similar joke in FAA air traffic control in ancient days when all controllers were required to wear white shirts and ties. Trainee asks how he’s doing and his instructor says, “Well, I wouldn’t buy any more white shirts if I were you.”

In actuality, they were much less subtle and compassionate in their responses.

I went to Malkin’s site and also to Hotair, (not linking). Malking was surprisingly skeptical for an alleged hate crime against a republican. Miniprops to her, but she is still way in the negative for all the garbage and nonsense she usually spews.

I just laughed out loud for at least a minute thinking about this dumb lady Ashley Todd, a college Republican. The most obvious problem with her story is the backwards “B” on her face, just the way it would look if it were carved while looking in the mirror. Doh! Plus, “carved” is being charitable. It looks more like she scraped her face with a needle. Plus, the “B” is surprisingly neat for having been “carved” into her face by an “enraged” robber who purportedly followed her to her car after stealing $60 from her? Why? To steal her car too? It might make more sense if the alleged robber actually stole her car, but he didn’t. And the attack took 40 minutes. It started at 8:50pm and she didn’t call the police until 9:30pm. You would think that for as long as the attack took, the enraged robber would have checked his work and done it again on the other cheek to get it right.

There was one funny comment on hotair though. Someone mused whether it would be a hate crime if a person got beat up for having a Cowboys sticker on their car. Go Giants.
