Sarah Palin told Dr. James Dobson of “Focus on the Family” that she is confident God will do “the right thing for America” on Nov. 4.

Interesting that she is “confident” but not “certain”. That’s her out. Because if good “allows” Obama to win (just like any event that is catastrophic from their perspective) it can only be explained by allowing Satan to advance to “test us” in some mysterious way. Usually it means that someone else sinned, though…since they themselves (as believers)are perpetually washed of THEIR sins. They would never accept the possibility that someone like Obama was in God’s plans. Or that perhaps the events on earth amongst men are not directly administered by God at all…that life itself is a test of our ethics…whether times are good (when charity and compassion should be easiest but clearly aren’t) or bad.

I find it almost amusing how the wingnuts pick and choose what they want to follow.

He had a dim view of the powerful and money hungry, too. He was on the side of the poor. The GOP does not fall under that heading.

Nothing like trivializing poor old God.

Because, also, when Obama/Biden win and also bring down the House and the Senate also to our side, it may look also like God does not answer the prayers of prayer warriors.

The real crisis is the McCain camp cannot trust her to do an unscripted presser.

“But I guess the looming crisis that most worries the Obama campaign right now is Joe Biden’s next speaking engagement.”

If she thinks that’s a crisis, then what does she think of the Wall Street credit crunch, the price of oil when it was $140/b, global warming and all the rest?

McCain is running an ad showing the Oval office and saying Obama is unprepared and that *this crisis* would be his first…in this chair (showing the nice chair behind the nice desk in the nice oval office.

But, it would be the first crisis for whomever is elected? McCain hasn’t had any executive experience — would he ask Palin for advice? Can’t see that.

I’ll take my chances with Obama since he’s smart, stable and running a great campaign with all the right ideas.

This is a firm indication that Palin is already looking past 2008 and looking towards 2012.

Yeah, by then the Palin administration will be gearing up for re-election.
