I don’t know if there is ANY possibility of the Dems reaching 60 in the Senate without including Joe, might just be wishful thinking but I’ll cling to the notion until November 5th.

My prediction is that, like in 2006, Democrats will win, but the votes will mysteriously flip in enough key races that the Republicans can remain obstructionists will maintain the ability to veto legislation.

A 74-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man with Obama signs in their front yards near the 600 block of South Villa Avenue received similar letters that had a Villa Park Village Hall return address. “Get the Obama signs off your property—now,” the letter reads. “Failure to obey this order will result in the immediate death of all family members.” Both residents said they will not remove their signs, though the man, who had voted Republican for 25 years before switching parties this year, said his wife is worried about letting their 7-year-old son play alone outside.

TX, Earlier voting is at the Shriners bldg on Rockwood. That is where I voted during the primary. I think I really need to vote today to get myself in the game and not worry about getting there again. Vote for Larry Joe, by the way.

As Sanchez was about to put Mr Zabairi on, Sanchez apologized as he was told that Zabairi wasn’t cleared to speak by the McCain campaign.

People think we’re crazy to come to Canada in late December, but as long as there’s no snow on the ground it’s a great time.

hey all- I worked on the ned lamont campaign, and have a special place on my “really detest THAT ONE list” for Joe Blow. He employed nasty boyz on his campaign against Lamont…they came into our small office wearing Lamont shirts, and asked if they could help. After we’d given them lawn signs, posters, and buttons, they went outside, peeled off their T-shirts, and—lo and behold- they were wearing Lieberman shirts underneath!!! They then proceeded to spit on our windows, and tear up all the stuff we’d given them, and stomp and spit on the posters. Lieber-kidz, I called them. Just goes to show that nasty people aren’t limited to the national stage. Too bad….
