While their list of the 10 worst members of Congress is far from perfect, they sure do have Holy Joe’s number:
Inherent in politics is the fact that someone always loses. Some lose gracefully, some lose poorly, and, as in the case of Joe Lieberman, some lose their minds. Since being defeated by an antiwar candidate in the Democratic primary in 2006, Lieberman (who was subsequently reelected as an Independent) has pursued his campaign of revenge against his former party, thinly disguised as an act of principle, replete with the quavering sanctimony that no country should have to put up with from anyone, much less from this small man.
Awesome. It’s like they wrote it just for Jane.

I agree. Joe is a “nar” (fool) and a “shanda” (shame).
Wieberman !!!
Any word on the Stevens trial?
there’s a monument to pissy Joe in Belgium.
And this little man cried “wee, wee, wee” all the way home.
(We wish. Home from the Senate, that is.)
Joe Low:
political petulance
verbal flatulence
craven opportunism
what’s not to like?
kewl!
and look how they still fall for the whole fair and balanced thingy with their list.
hehehe
Surely there’s a “Revancha del Lieberman” parody screaming for birth somewhere.
I think the word putz is appropriate.

i wonder where joe’s office is going to be once the Dems have full control of the senate.
Is there a handicap stall large enough for him and his ego?
Wee Joe is a spirited lad, always up for a round of grandiose role-playing.
;>)
i would love to be a fly on the wall the night this election is called for Obama
Joeholio.

Thanks, I always enjoy a good hit piece on Short Ride, he is such a contemptible little prick.
Say it ain’t so, Joe !
Senate: we either need 60 Dems (59 plus independent Saunders) w/o Lieberman – a real long shot – or no more 58 Dems (59 w/ Saunders). Worst scenario would be where Lieberman retains any relevance whatsoever.
((( DB ))) Excellent as always !
Who makes committee assignments?
he’s little joe from down below, and if he ain’t in, then the deal don’t go!
If BO’s ground game is duplicated by the Dems in their Congressional races, they will get 60+ seats … without HoJo.
I prefer him irrelevant
When does JoeLie come up for re- election ?
Any bets on how many of us will be in Ct. campaiging against him ?
((Petro))
Yes, the comment definitely spoke to me.
If Lugar receives a cabinet position who would name his replacement?
Well you know, he is Harry Reid’s BFF …
((( WB )))
No more debates … *sigh* … where will we find a new drinking game ? *g*
The most likely R Governor of Indiana
2012 and I wouldn’t hold my breath on Short Ride actually running again.
this election cycle is driving me to drink on my own *g* frayed nerves, and dumb asses abound
Speaking of funny photos…

Traitor Joe likes to talk about reaching
acrossaround aisles, well Obama’s reaching across stars and bars…*spit* I have no use for either of them to be honest
I don’t know if there is ANY possibility of the Dems reaching 60 in the Senate without including Joe, might just be wishful thinking but I’ll cling to the notion until November 5th.
My prediction is that, like in 2006, Democrats will win, but the votes will mysteriously flip in enough key races that the Republicans
can remain obstructionistswill maintain the ability to veto legislation. For more info visit http://www.stealingamericathemovie.org/ (I am not affiliated with this movie)
does anyone know if the 59 in the Senate as currently projected by Nate/538 include Chambliss and McConnell losses ??
I met Hughes Quebecois over the weekend … what a sense of humor !
Nate Silver’s take, which unfortunately factors in Lieberman:
Can’t even imagine what election night will be like. I am working for our Congressional race…so I’m wondering where to hang out.
Maybe the reason McCain paced so much during the 2nd debate is that if he sits still too long his dogs (Joe and Lindsey) are likely to run up and start humping his legs…
McCain’s seat is also in play, IIRC …
wonderful!!! I;m gald you two had the opportunity to meet and talk (commiserate)
that was for petro @ 38 (typos and all)
Frank Rich:
LOL !!! … that would explain why they bought 3 rugs in Iraq …
I’m working the polls so I’ll be there until they close unless they have enough workers. Thank heavens for the internet.
McCain’s Senate term is not up until 2010 I believe.
I’m so happy to see Saxby “Sack-of-Shit” Chambliss at the head of the list, and glad I’ve been doing what I can to help Jim Martin flush that steaming pile.
Shameless indeed. fckr.
thanks pun, just read that. C’mon Senator Mukasey, drop some of that phat Obama secured loan money in to Texas – Stat !
Noriega 08 !!!
OT:
I have a post up showing the vandalism done to my friend’s car, vandalism simply because she is an Obama supporter. Many horrifying photos as well.
WOO HOO!!! We’re Number One! We’re Number One! Saxby Chambliss comes in at number one! Yay!!! Oh, wait… Never mind… [slinks off muttering to herself about having a Senator worse than Liarman)
Thanks, I literally laughed out loud.
My Obama car magnets arrived Saturday and I put it on the car. Well mr plays soccer on Sundays and this match was down in the ehart of Orange County (repub central)
I sure hope he keeps it until the next AZ race
that’s terrible. Seems to be the rule now instead of the exception. bunch of brownshirts
Ya gotta love Frank Rich. Arguably the only valuable thing left at the NYT.
I read that Judy Miller is joining Fox News, apparently after being flushed from the Times, she has finally arrived at the septic tank.
hope the County Sheriff starts the investigation with the Hays County GOP – pigs
We went to a Progressive Rock Concert by Peter Hamill at this place.
Peter was incredible … on fire and his devout fans loved every minute. This was the first time I’ve heard Peter and met Hughes … hopefully there will be other meet- ups.
(((Marion))) it’s okay (well it’s okay somewhere just maybe not where you are right now) *g*
Krugman?
Glad to help.

Ah yes, the poignant humor of John Cleese lives on …
via orange overlord:
it’s just lovely here in Amerika
content of the notes were as follows;
TX, Earlier voting is at the Shriners bldg on Rockwood. That is where I voted during the primary. I think I really need to vote today to get myself in the game and not worry about getting there again. Vote for Larry Joe, by the way.
‘…I blame Hockey !‘
Nice try, snowback.

sheesh i suck today… here is the link
Yeah, and since you’ve got the good taste to enjoy Grand Marnier as well, let’s find something quick!
We’ll have to hoist a few when the missus and I make our Boxing Day trip.
Yeah, I overstated things a bit. Despite occasionally employing some complete tools like Miller or Friedman, the NYT has it’s good points.
Breaking! Rick Sanchez, CNN tried to interview Daniel Zabairi who told a racist supporter of McCain (captured on video) outside a Woodbridge, VA rally that he did not speak for the campaign.
As Sanchez was about to put Mr Zabairi on, Sanchez apologized as he was told that Zabairi wasn’t cleared to speak by the McCain campaign.
So the question is “Who speaks for the McCain campaign, the racist or Zabairi?
I howled when I read that!
ROFL
You’re coming up here ?
He did take fingerprints from the car and the rock, and there is apparently at least one lead.
Classy folks. Not big on the First Amendment but they probably go around quoting the Second.
Does that account for this?
‘My friends, far be it from me to make a correlation between ‘Leafs fan’ and ‘unemployed socialist’, and yet…’

Let’s commiserate, I have to deal with the hypocrisy of Gordon Smith, who’s Mr. Repub lite and/or DLC-like for about 16 months before each election…
poor thing. anyone who has ever been vandalized or robbed knows how creepy the after effects are.
just popped a quick e mail to Hays County Democrats (with your link) demanding they insist the county republics PUBLICLY rebuke this action -”rule of law” and all that :D
received similar letters that had a Villa Park Village Hall return address.
somebody is sending threats via mail and using a return address?
as is often said in my business:
“people are *so* stupid – thank gawd.”
me too. “half-dotty” is being charitable…
brings to mind that Pearl Jam song:
We’ve just got to keep working for more and better Democrats… I’ve got DINO John Barrow for my Congresscritter. We primaried him this year, but he won. Wish us better luck in 2010.
emptywheel upstairs on some Republican Voter Fraud
You seem surprised. We try to visit Toronto a couple of times a year, and make it to Caribana at least every 2-3 yrs.
People think we’re crazy to come to Canada in late December, but as long as there’s no snow on the ground it’s a great time.
Needless to say, the wife likes the sales during that time as well.
hey all- I worked on the ned lamont campaign, and have a special place on my “really detest THAT ONE list” for Joe Blow. He employed nasty boyz on his campaign against Lamont…they came into our small office wearing Lamont shirts, and asked if they could help. After we’d given them lawn signs, posters, and buttons, they went outside, peeled off their T-shirts, and—lo and behold- they were wearing Lieberman shirts underneath!!! They then proceeded to spit on our windows, and tear up all the stuff we’d given them, and stomp and spit on the posters. Lieber-kidz, I called them. Just goes to show that nasty people aren’t limited to the national stage. Too bad….
New Hamsher a couple of flights upstairs
I remember you telling me about your past trips to Toronto and am pleasantly surprised that you’ll be coming here.
We’re having lots of out of town guests at Christmas and I’m sure I’ll find time for a wee bit o’ Grand Marnier with you … *g*
