I turned in and had them cancel my absentee ballot. Told them I wanted to vote at my regular polling place on 4 Nov. Now that they’re using paper ballots here there’s no reason for me to continue to vote absentee. I will trust this system until such time as they show it can no longer be trusted.

Gigi, my 14yo, likes to drag her mouse around, talking to it the whole time. Just precious to watch.

ah. living with tigers…. you are blessed. same here, even tho we be compassionate heathens in the eyes of some.

Thanks for the banter. Feels sunnier around here for awhile.

Man it’s hard to wait for election day. I’m planning to go in cold turkey and vote in my own precinct on the Diebold monster with a hopefully real and true paper trail.

All the experts among the Dems. are urging, PLEADING with us to vote early, AT the Board of Elections for our county. this being OH and all….

Nah. I just can’t. Gotta stare ‘em in the face just like always in the past. Our poll workers in our little corner of the state are good people. I have to demonstrate that I trust them, somehow. It’s the clowns who may mess with things beforehand, and later, that I don’t trust.

Good day to you sir. Pat the tigers for us, and we’ll do the same with ours. Hey! We have one who plays catch. She serves like Chris Evert, tossing the toy up for a solid overhead smash; hard to catch but dead-on accurate. Then she catches the return, sometimes to fiddle with it awhile; but usually just by whacking it right back to whomever she’s playing with. Carries the toy to us, yowling all the way, and presents it at our feet when it’s game-time. Gotta love it. A few graceful pounds of silky fluff that’s smarter than dubya.

not to fear. a day or 2 ago, i was doubling every modifier for some blasted reason. the whippersnappers will just have to put up with us. besides, none of them commin’ up these days can spell worth “piaffe”. including Bill Gates, apparently. heh

Far cry from a tough guy. I live with tigers and these lazy bums won’t answer the phone much less do my laundry. One of them did decide s/he wanted to pee on a pile of clean laundry and that made up my first load. I musta pissed somebody off.
