Joe apparently is registered under “Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher”. There was a misspelling in his registration. Which, as pointed out by the piece above by Secretary of State Brunner, could eliminate him from the voter rolls under the Republican “conditions” for challenging “registration errors”.

Even worse, if one wants to get technical about it, IF he voted in the Primary under that erroneous name, he may have committed voter fraud. Unless of course the Registrar of Voters cleared his “provisional ballot”.

And he moved from “North Pole, Alaska” in the 1990’s to “be closer to family”. He moved to Arizona…where the Charles Keating-linked Robert M. Wurzelbacher, Jr. lived (and was convicted of fraud). Turns out the Kaeting-branch of Wurzelbacher’s also hailed (and still owned land) in Ohio, too.

Given the fact the guy only pulls in $40K a year ( a few years back) and has a dependent kid…one has to wonder where he’s gonna get the money to buy that business that will “make” $250K/year. If it has that level of profitability it would likely be worth several million.

Where does a guy like this get such money? I’d say family…and that he’d merely be the front man to a “silent partner”. And given that he’s unlicensed to work as a plumber it sort of makes you wonder how the transaction would be legally contrived. Sort of like the whole fraudulent shifting of funds during the S&L scandal.

But it’s interesting that this guy is beefing about Obama’s tax plan when he would likely save about $6000 in taxes OVER what he is under the George W. Bush tax regime in ten years. He could invest that in bonds or T-Bills and likely send his kid to a good state college for that.
And how many hard-working Americans would actually get closer to the $250K “dream” under the Obama-plan? After all, I’d rather increase my probabilities of getting rich…and then pay a tad more when I get to the good life…and live a bit more comfortably and securely while climbing the “wealth ladder”.

Unless Wurzelbacher and his ilk are actually helping out some rich relatives their whinging makes no rational economic sense at all.

One question I’d like to see Joe the Plumber asked one question (a two-parter), when did he have his first contact with the McCain campaign (before or after his appearance at the Obama rally) and who initiated the contact (including if some third party asked that he initiate it)?

I worked for a slime when I first move to this country who was getting divorced. He wouldn’t pay me from his company account because he kept no money there so his wife and her attorneys couldn’t find it. Her had all business money come into another “secret” account and paid me from that account. I’m sure this guy doing something similar to pay less child support and his declared forty thousand is a fudge for a much higher amount.

Turns out, Joe the Plumber isn’t a registered voter -

It might be heartening to McCain to know that he has at least one vote in Democratic stronghold Lucas County, Ohio, but for one small fact. A download of the Lucas County voter rolls from the Ohio Secretary of State’s website lists four Wurzelbachers, two in Holland, but none of them named Sam or Joe or Samuel Joseph. There’s a Robert Lee and a Frank Edward Wurzelbacher, but no Joe.
