What can Obama do about these robo calls? We need some media attention exposing the racist nut jobs should help the undecided voters make up their minds and hurt McCain more than it helps him, but we need big media coverage.

We should ban robo calls that mention a politicians opponent because there is just to much wiggle room for lies.
Now if McCain wants to talk about himself and where he stands on the issues without mentioning Obama that would be fine.
Except the issues are not helping the GOP right now.

It’s beginning to look like Obama is headed for victory, barring any computer fraud or massive voter suppression. Should he win it will be imperative that those in the Republican party that have aided and abetted crimes against the U.S. Constitution and the American people be held accountable. To sweep all their crimes under the rug, as was done with Iran-Contra, merely for the purpose of comity will be a grave mistake. It’s time for Republicans to realize that there are consequences for their crimes. It will also provide a teaching moment for the American people on how the Republican Party is nothing more than a criminal cabal.

“I don’t have a drivers license. I don’t drive. I put in the last four digits of my Social Security number, and they still denied me,” Gross said. “Republicans have this state, and they want to stay Republican. They don’t want a Democrat, much less a black man.”

Truer words were never spoken. That said, we’re working on changing that. People here are beginning to wake up to the fact that the Rethugs have been screwing us for years. They’ve run the state into a ditch and no amount of spin will alter that reality. For the first time in recent memory more people are leaving the state than moving here.

Here’s a post I did yesterday about our local republican Probate Judge in our county. He’s been breaking the law for years now:

If anyone does read this post (it’s long…sorry, but I had a lot to say! LOL), in the comment section read my comment at #17. This is a side story ending that was included in the original post.

I have a feeling the local republicans will hate my guts before the year is over. Or maybe the week. Not sure. Bah hahahahahahaha!

Okay, officially out of the shower, dressed, and heading to work in my 2002 Saturn with 162,000 miles on it! I wonder if Joe the Plumber has a Saturn like me? Huh. I wondah.

The best chance the Rethugs have of stealing the election in FL is with purging the voter rolls, which Secretary of State Browning is doing with typical Rethug vigor. Those most at risk are those without a driver’s license. In those cases their SS number must match the data in SSA’s database, which I understand has a 40% error rate. That’s some really sloppy data inputing at SSA.

CNBC anchors just finished a segment where they were feeling sorry for Fuld of Lehman. Apparently there’s some talk of indicting him for perjury. Didn’t catch the beginning but gathered it has a lot to do with emails (bwahahahahaha). Oh no, they said, Fuld may be a SOB, but he would never lie. Now something I didn’t notice was any critique of how the other alternative is that Fuld must be a moron to be so totally unaware that his firm was about to fold. That’s what he said in his congressional testimony. It’s his story & he’s sticking to it. CNBC finds that completely plausible.

Alot of people are getting bounced. Pretty alarming. Might have helped a bit if we had a primary, registered people back then and if they got rejected maybe they could have fixed things before the general. I just hope we’ve registered so many people that even with their best efforts to suppress votes for our side it’ll still be enough.

I’ve never listened to robocalls. I always hang up. It used to be that, in California I believe, it was not allowed. A live person had to ask if you would accept a message from a computer. That rule must have changed, though. I might check on that, when I get a free minute.

With tin foil hat firmly in place…seems to me the ACORN thing is going to be used by the republicans to call the elections a fraud and enact some sort of block to them. When the corrupt DOJ and FBI announce such invesigations so close to the elections, with right media drums beating so loudly on this (with FOX analysts wondering out loud if the elections might not be over after election day) I cant help to believe we are about to see the republicans turn on America and refuse to lose.

They know they are going down and going down hard. They know America has had enough of their devisive tactics but they will refuse to concede. They (right wing, religious nuts, corporate backers) will not allow this to happen and the ACorn thing is how they will stop it.

Hope Im wrong but I see a major event about to happen with this election and I think it will involve the troops recently brought into domestic duty by Bush. Hold on folks…I think the shit is about to hit the proverbial fan and we are all gonna get hit. The right wing is not going to allow democratic rule even if it means martial law.

They just gotta ride out a little storm, more like some drizzle, for four or eight years while they devise their next plan to take over and spread Death and Destruction throughout the world.

They might even like a little downtime regroup anyway. We’ll find out either way in the very near future at least.
