I just saw a video clip on MSNBC of “Joe the Plumber” explaining why he wasn’t convinced by last night’s debate to support Barack Obama. Among his reasons was something about how we shouldn’t apologize for being Americans. And here’s Sarah Palin saying the same thing. </p> <p>Coincidence? I think not.</p> This is Very Interesting. She did not say Americans don’t have any actions to apologize for, she said they don’t apologize for BEING Americans. Which frankly, I don’t either. I may be embarrassed for and apologetic of my government, or even OTHER Americans who make us look bad…but I would never apologize for BEING American.
