Each time the voters take a second look at Barack, their positive first impressions seem to dissipate. Barack is a weak closer.

This is the first real race McCain has ever run in his whole political career…… he used the same POW status crap campaigning in his first race ….. the Democratic party was pretty much non-existent in AZ until 2004….. McCain has never had to fight for his job…….

Well if we actually look at McCain’s history in Presidential primaries he started off strong in 1996 and 2000 and whimpered into the closing to lose to Dole and Bush. He threatened a “maverick” stance against Bush in 2004, but ended up selling his soul such that he would gain Bush’s “imprimatur” as heir apparent in 2008. That didn’t work out so well.

Now Obama, on the other hand has started out slow against his Senatorial incumbent rival, who collapsed in a scandal, then clobbered his carpetbagging Bush-appointed replacement. Nice finish!

And Obama was counted out even before the Democratic primary was started…and gained momentum. True Hillary hung on and did make huge gains in a Quixotic effort. But the reality was that Obama had it by April.

But McCain is no Hillary Clinton. He’s made no sign of a late rush that would even put him close, and if anything it’s Obama who has made the late climb and gained momentum.

In fact, McCain continues to make massive strategic errors and his selection of his support team has proved downright distracting. He’s running his late campaign in the wrong States…ones that have already been lost (initially Michigan, then Pennsylvania, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New Hampshire). Palin even campaigned in California!

Thus he ceded Florida…and increasing looks to be losing Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nevada, and West Virginia.

And his campaign advisors are immersed in scandal…and his VP turns out to be best at promoting bigotry, avoiding the media because the gild has become tarnished, and generally being the laughing stock of late-night comedy. Her husband is a member of an Alaska separatist movement. And she used her political office to attack civil servants who were just doing their jobs.

And his campaign is going broke…through the infinite wisdom of accepting public financing.

And this is the guy who is supposedly the “most experienced” to run the country?

Our friend Mr. Steve Audio has just lost his Mother also. When I say My Sincerest Sympathies, it will never equal what I am trying to express.

I know this from my own experience, you do have the memories,write them down for your own benefit and your childrens as soon as you can. It will help you with the healing process and it will amaze you how much you have forgotten.

I wish to this day I had paid more attention to my heritage.

As much as I would love to see a 3rd party uprising, I can’t think of a third party rising in America that wasn’t accompanied by the collapse of one of the others…I think it’s far more likely to succeed by pushing the Overton Window to the left, ad making the Democratic Party into the party we’d like to see. A big infusion of Greens would help, too, IMO.
