His name means “Generous spirit” and it is the family name of a teacher who anonymously sent my Dad through college. My Dad learned of his anonymous college scholarship supporter just days before our little guy was born. After 7 weeks in the hospital of trying to save him (and we did), a name that meant generous spirit just seemed to fit because so many people unselfishly helped us through it all and his being with us is the gift of everyone’s generosity.</p> <p>It will take a society of “generous spirit” to “save” our country.</p> selise and waccamaw,
