Frankly, I hate all the debate formats we’ve had for decades,now.Reporters (Irefuse to call them “journalists”) have no business being “moderators. Their highest value is a “story,” “good copy,” meaning they’ll go for the gotcha questions every time, no matter how un-enlightening they are on the issues.
