And with the worthless insurance we all pay for we’re all just one lump in the wrong place from the same boat.

I’d check with a financial adviser. There are places you can put money that can’t be penetrated by collections. I’m certainly no expert and I dont’ know your sitch, but servicing that kind of debt isn’t going to get you anywhere. If you have enough income, buy a safe and go cash for a while, put away what you can and don’t tell a soul. Let those guys rot until your seven year window goes by, or starve them until they are ready to settle, but DON’T keep servicing debt that’s not putting a roof over your head.

I hope this country has learned once and for all what these damned Republicans are really all about. Unbelievable what a mess they’ve put us all in.

I’ve still got all these, some in dupes. Haven’t played any of them since likely ‘80. But man, their first five were awesome garage band R&B work and STILL my favs! *G* Course, it’s just plain hard to ignore Flowers, Banquet, Let It Bleed or any other of their works.

I equally love their country/honk works . . . Wild Horses. No Expectations. So much music they did . . .

We already filed for bankruptcy. Three years ago. Two more illnesses came after that. It never occurred to me to wait to see if we would get sick again.

And the kicker - the paper ballots were literally 5 feet from where we stood, in a pile.

ha! Typical.

jayt’s rules of dealing with bureaucracies:

a) (in person) If you don’t get the right answer at first, ask for a supervisor. If still stymied, ask for the supervisor’s supervisor. Repeat as necessary.

b) (by phone) If you get an unsatisfactory answer the first time, hang up, call back five minutes later, and ask someone else the same question. Repeat until someone gives you the answer you want to hear.

Truly amazing how often it works, especially by phone.
