We do need to restructure the economy in order make it sustainable.

The global economy hurt our workers. Can we bring those jobs back from China to the USA? We should.

Can we inject fed projects into the economy to put people to work.. repairing infrastructure, developing a new clean energy industrial base with oddles of jobs. We should

Can we expect that workers get pensions and security in their retirement after a life time of work? We should.

Can we expect to provide good education, decent affordable house and health care to all? Why not? Can we get rid of the idea of a home as an investment and change it into a place to live? and not live off of? I would hope so.

We certainly need to restructure our economy for the people (workers) and not for capital - the owners of property and industry. The regan revolution was a total failure. We get it. Now let’s move on to some GOOD solutions and economy models.

My problem with tweety is ya never know which way he’s gonna blow; the only certainty is that he will blow HARD. That garbajz he spewed about the codpiece business……..he could just as easily have pulled a rich lowry reaction to palin. It’s wonderful when he *does* support our side of the fence but, for consistency, gimme Rachel or Amy any day……and without the huffin’ ‘n puffin’.

The fact that the polls clearly show Palin lost the debate on the merits? Forget it. I’m smitten, just like Rich Lowry. She’s Xena Santorum Palin, the Culture warrioress. Who cares about a little thing like reality when you can have pseudo-facts? And who cares what the eggheads think?

yeah. sometimes the truth is reported. but why not every single time? no excuse for not doing it. say what you will about matthews but as he tells us all the time, he’s been around politics along time. after the debate, it seemed to me that he was absolutely offended by palin. don’t think this will play well with him either. i only mention Matthews because i think there are others like him will speak up and call a spade a spade here. hope he does. hope others do.

But there are no bubbles now and so reality is coming home to roost for the people who have been talking on their cell phones in from of their flat screen TVs eating plastic food, driving gas gizzling cars in front of house they can’t afford and over paid for because they we all bubble believers.

And speaking of reality, it’s gonna be interesting to see if assorted comments from the talking hairdo’s (including georgie will) about people just now getting their third quarter investment statements get followed up on. Someone on the idjit box this morning made the generalization that joe six-pack is gonna find 25% of whatever they saved gone….gone….gone……..
