Well, I think that one shouldn’t release the “dogs” unless one is willing to face the Lions. The comments be Palin were ineptly seconded by Joe McCain, John’s brother, when he called Virginians “communists”. So if Virginians are all a bunch of “commies” from their perspective…of course a guy that happens to sit in the same room with a prehistoric radical would have to be at least a “pinko”.

But this foolish move on the part of the McCain campaign gives Obama the right and privilege to respond. Not in kind, not with false aspersions…but with questions about McCains OWN ethical lapses.

NPR was reporting today that the McCain camp was saying there would be more “sizzle” in his challenging Obama come Tuesday. My 79-year-old mom has been struggling with her bridge pals, one of whom is a volunteer in a highly-placed GOP’s office. This dear friend of mom’s continues to drag out the madrassa, birth certificate, and Muslim stories every time there’s pause in the conversation at the table. Mother says she’s getting tired of fighting back, but the others always turn to her for a rebuttal, knowing (it seems) that it is all propaganda.

If he’s elected, I’m guessing that Obama will have made the transition from private citizen to president in less time than all his predecessors except for (maybe) the current occupant. Key difference is that Obama did it without the help of a politically connected family.

That doesn’t mean we have to do it. During my 20 years working in mental health I never saw a case of substance addiction that wasn’t pitiful, regardless of socio-economic background. A nation with a health-care system that treats symptoms with medication rather than treating the underlying disease creates a segment of the population addicted to something.

I’m just surprised the other ladies, mostly loyal GOPs, are intent on hearing Mom’s rebuttals. I think the over-the-top aspect of the Obama smears has people wondering.

We’ve all heard the mantra from the “tough on crime” clowns that addicts will do just about anything for “a fix.” The language may be outdated but the problem remains. Some addicts will do anything to get high. It’s part of their pathology. As much as we get on Limbaugh for his addiction problem the fact remains he became an addict the same way many other people do. Prescription pain medication, due to its pharmacology, presents a greater danger of addiction than other pain relievers, although I’ve known people addicted to aspirin. Prescription pain medication addiction is a huge problem in this country. People like Limbaugh and Cindy find it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to admit they’re addicted to something. We see the results of that with both Limbaugh and Cindy. That said, McSFB perhaps interfering in the investigation is another matter. We can assume if he did so he did it to keep her addiction from becoming public knowledge, which is an extension of Cindy’s not wanting anyone to find out.

My impression of Cindy from all the video clips of the two on the campaign trail:
She always has a look of “how long do we have to play this game?” on her face.
She’s known all along that it wasn’t going to work out in the end.
I’m beginning to understand why she might have felt that way.

The timing has to be intentional. It’s like the artillery bombardment before the landings on the beaches. And the funny thing is that Palin opened the door to this. It’s clear that this video has been in production for a good long while…just waiting for presentation.

BTW The Repugs are saying that Obamas under $200 contributions are rife with fraud. The are filing a complaint (whine) with the Federal Elections Commission.

At least on their online contributions it’s be a bit difficult to cheat. Even their smallest contributions require a statement of personal info and employer. I suppose one could create a bogus CC acct. but what would prevent a large contributor, or someone giving to the Republicans from doing that. It’s the same stipulations for everyone. And as the campaignh said above they are likely doing more than necessary.

Teddy I did 2200 crunches last night. All the ab work to reduce back works for me. A strong abdomen, inner and outer obliques and innere and outer spinalis lateralis support the spinal column as well as the inner costals. But then I believe in science and the education I recieved with an openmind and great enthusiasm. It works for a lot of us. Even only using yoga and breathing exercises. So you sleep better if you prepare your body properly. Exercise produces endorphins that are natural pain killers. Three months ago could sometimes not stand straight. Now the body is relaxed. Rowed 3 2000 meter sets on the bay. Happiness follows good health.
