The MST do a “tell” about the Obama-McCain race (roughly tied in the last poll) in the analysis section. They say that Franken has benefitted from “riding on the coattails” of Obama, indicating that Obama leads by EVEN MORE than Franken!

Saw some analysis of this earlier today (538 maybe?), and they said SurveyUSA, who has Coleman up 10% provides much more background data and this new poll doesn’t give much, so there was some caution about this. They were guessing between the two polls, we might want to assume it’s a dead heat.

Now if Obama comes and helps Franken on the stump, and with the trend lines in Al’s favor, things would be looking pretty good. The thought of Franken giving speeches on the Senate floor is quite amusing.

What has the McCain camp come up with? Attack ads full of lies and hatred.

What has the Obama camp come up with? Concern for ordinary people.

We’re a proud patriotic people and we need a good, strong leader who knows how to help us and when to stay out of the way. Barack Obama cares about Main Street Americans and has the energy and intelligence to do the job right. During the Clinton administration we had a growing economy and peace. A few of those people have joined the Obama team to get the American economy back on the road to good health and to mend relations with other nations. Some of the challenges are different and some problems we face now are worse, but with strong teamwork, the right fundamentals and help from above they can be overcome. There are two presidential candidates. Only one can win. As I see it the choice is obvious, it’s a slam dunk. Obama.

I gave up on that torment in 99 and have never looked back! I refuse to work on customers PCs at their homes if they don’t have a high speed connection. I tell them that I will take it to my lab/garage to work on it… Dial-up is the pits… but I did use it for years before there was DSL…

i had been on cable modem before i moved up on the mt – and i gotta say, it was dayam hard going back to dialup.

Complete agreement. I can do in an hour or 2 off-site, what takes 5-7 hours on-site.

Hustler Video is shooting a porn with a look-alike, titled “Nailin’ Paylin.” The spelling is sic and so is Hustler.

The faux Sarah is Lisa Ann, who “will be nailing the Russians who come knocking on her back-door.” In another scene — a flashback — “young Paylin’s creationist college professor will explain a ‘big bang’ theory even she can’t deny!”

There’s also a threeway with Hillary and Condoleezza look-alikes. The video is in pre-production, but is being fast tracked for release before the election.

Sarah Palin’s strenuously folksy debate performance, we could wonder when elite became a bad thing in America. Mr. Kristof, in “Racism Without Racists,” says one of this season’s fallacies is that if Barack Obama is paying an electoral price for his skin tone, it must be because of racists. Not so — the evidence is that he is facing what scholars have dubbed “racism without racists.” Mr. Friedman’s column is titled “Swedish Spoken Here.” He says when the next president takes office, Americans should not be surprised when he spells out the ramifications of being a debtor nation. Mr. Rich says “Pitbull Palin Mauls McCain,” and that the 2008 election is now an Obama-Palin race about “the future,” and the only person who doesn’t seem to know it is Mr. Past, poor old John McCain.
