Palin’s final quote was from Ronald Reagan, warning that without vigilance, “you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children, and our children’s children, what it once was like in America when men were free.”

Instead, we are going to be spending our sunset years telling our children what is was line in America before Bush bankrupted the country, financially and morally. I hope we don’t have to add the 4 or 8 years under McCain/Palin iced the cake.

Yeah, that was my first thought..rabies..and me armed with a tiny flashlight?
It was very uncoyote like. But we live in an area where coyotes are a relatively new problem.6 years. Someone released them.First started getting coyote sightings 6 years ago. It’s a frigging ISLAND! They have to have been dumped here.
So the possibility of them being not rabid but 5 generation bold is more likely. Not to underestimate the rabies thing.
We also have an infestation of Norwegian Rats that are creating havoc-never had those until 5 years ago. They’re incredibly cute and horrible at the same time!!!

OT I just had a weird thing happen. In the events of the night I’d forgotten to lock our new chickens into their roost. I went out with my flashlight, making enough noise to wake the dead…and a “dog” stared at me, then retreated down a path not 5 feet from where I stood. With many options for more slinky paths away from me.
It was a coyote. In my whole childhood on the prairie a coyote has never opted for an escape that goes feet from a human!!! I actually LIKE coyotes. This was freaky.
After my heart stopped pounding I imagined what it must be like for the people of Irak to encounter not rogue coyotes, but rogue humans. when a sound alerts you to a presence, but it’s too late to do anything but scream.
We must end this now. We must not allow Obama to think escalating our killing in Afganistan is the answer to world peace.
My heart is still pounding!

I’ll have to go to the transcript to figure out what Palin actually said and try to figure out whose facts were right. But there’s no question: She won the debate on popularity. She did her homework, studied hard, and delivered with spunk. Still, I had the uneasy feeling throughout that I was witnessing a data dump from a very appealing droid. Even the winks and jaw juts seemed slightly programmed. And the question remains: Is she ready to be president should the need arise?

How can Kathleen say that Sarah did her homework when Kathleen admits that she will have to go to the transcript to figure out whose answers were right?
Thats like saying I copied off Sarah’s paper because she did her homework but I don’t know if the answers are right.
And then saying that Sarah is so smart because she did her homework.
First rule Kathleen never cheat off a stupid person.
