I imagine e.g. helicopter pilots would receive special duties during events such as a fire.

I was onboard a ship which suffered a main space fire in the Indian Ocean. For a while we were afraid the hull had fractured and we were going to lose her. It warped the decks and bulkheads of the adjacent spaces and was only extinguished by flooding the Fireroom (Ironically named, in retrospect). It burned so hot it melted the gage glasses.

Other than their GQ Station? I agree that everyone on every ship has an assigned fire station, but I failed to be clear. Usually personnel who are not on the actual Fire Parties or Security Response Teams go to their GQ Stations. Is that what you are referring to?

thanks for the links. whether there are other congresspeople who rank as low or lower than McCain does not change his grade of D nor does it change the fact that he claims to support vets when he in fact doesn’t.
