This of course doesn’t mean that when McCain loses, Rick Davis won’t return to his firm and profit from it. Much the same way Cheney will return to Halliburton and profit, even though his investments are currently in a “blind trust.”

Corerection to my last post…it was only Freddie Mac involved in this (ASFAIK) and the complaints from other directors of Freddie Mac was that the CEO of Freddie Mac was doing this activity in a “partisan” manner, wanting to curry influence with the guy that he thought would become President. Perhaps there were no lawyers involved…
