Please carry the idea of McCain as the Interrogator and Obama as the POW further. It has bugged me. What I have observed is that when he talks about more mundane topics, like his ranch or grilling, he doesn’t have the blinking tic. When he begins to talk about campaign issues the blinking becomes compulsive. If he has a dry eye or contact problem they would have fixed it a long time ago with medication.<br /> What I thinks is that he is lying. And his blinking suggests that he possibly has a conscience. His body reveals that he is uncomfortable, even if it is unconscious, with lying. Bums me out, I’ve been thinking he is an average, kind of, run of the mill sociopath. I have just about settled on that he is really just a spoiled, narcissistic, bully. He is an utterly boring, predictable asshat.<br /> I’m also thinking he sometimes can’t help telling the truth, see statement about torture last night, and he behaves like a loose canon. What a conflicted man. I’d feel sorry for him but the danger of putting someone like him in charge of <em>anything</em> overrides my compassion. I feel bad for his children. I’ve been there.
