Our best wishes for the old lion, may this not be his last winter.
Update: apparently it was a mild seizure probably caused by a medication change, and he’s heading home to watch the debate. Phew.

Best wishes.
Godspeed.
I don’t pray much, but when I do, it’s for people like Ted Kennedy.
Wishing all the best and feeling grateful for your service, Senator.
Washington Weak doing its best to give a positive spin to McCain’s kookiness the last few days.
Apparently he has been in the Senate for 26 years and couldn’t stay away from Washington because he had to take part in crafting legislation on the bailout. No word on how he managed to stay away from the Senate for most of the last 2 years and virtually all of the last 6 months.
Per Keith just now, Kennedy’s been sent home from Cape Cod Hospital after suffering a slight seizure at home. He wanted to watch the debates at home, apparently.

In some ways this is a good sign. If this were something terminal, he probably would have been kept at home. Best wishes to him.
Yay! Have a good time watching the debate, Sen. Kennedy — We all owe you more than we could ever say.
May he recover enough to witness the end of the Bush era.
Great! Now he can toss his socks at his TeeVee along with us! With you in spirit, Ted.
God bless Ted Kennedy.
Senator Kennedy – i am very proud that you are my senator – in fact, I think you have been the best senator ever.
I hope the debate gives Ted and the rest of us cause for celebration.
With luck, McCain will walk onstage with a piece of toilet paper trailing from one of his Ferragamos.
God willing he’ll hang on to see a Democrat safely installed at 1600.
Amen, Sister.
“Per Keith just now, Kennedy’s been sent home from Cape Cod Hospital …”
I saw that — it was before the debate. In his opening statement, McOldMan said Kennedy was IN the hospital … and asked everyone to pray for him.
Now you may think that my knowing this (along with millions of others), when McCain didn’t, is trivial. I say it isn’t. If he can’t keep up, is he qualified to be president? You may say he is too busy to keep up with Kennedy. Yes. But HE chose to make that statement in the debate, and surely just one of his handlers could have known that. Right?
