Isn’t there a real easy solution to McCain’s not wanting to debate on Friday?

He has in his arsenal someone he believes is experienced and qualified to take the highest office in the land at a moment’s notice. Surely a debate is far easier.

Well, McCain was a boxer for a while, too. Only, IIRC, it has been reported that he had only one gear: forward! So he got hit in the head a lot. Apparently, feints were not his strong suite.

They get the buzz bump up with Mooselini and then have the rich white guy come in to rescue everything and claim it all shows good mavrickety judgment by St. John?

Thought I might be all tinfoil hatty when that same thought entered my mind. Still think eventually, McCain and crew will throw Palin under the bus whether they win or lose the election.

Also given thought that shoring up Palin as a VP nominee has become a full time job for the campaign. Not enough minders to go around for McCain and Palin, hense wanting to cancel the debate.

If McCain debates and Obama has the good sense to pin this crap on the Republicans, McCain will be exposed, lose the debate, and five or ten points in the polls. If McCain falls that far behind his candidacy will be over.

McCain is using this excuse like a schoolboy who has’nt studied all year and needs more time before the test.
