One thing that would be nice is if all the polls start showing Obama leads in the 10% range. This would create a perception that it’s wrapped up and if Repubes try to steal it again, enough people won’t be buying it this time. State polls tend to follow the national trends, so if Obama starts pulling way ahead consistently, I’m thinking he’ll start dominating on the Electoral College maps as well. Targeting just a handful of states to pull tricks won’t be enough for Repubes to steal it.

well, I downloaded that AVG program CT turned me onto and did a full scan, found an online game that the AVG said was spyware and got rid of that. But my computer is still running very slowly and every time I do a Norton Express Cleanup it seems to be picking up an awful lot of Internet trash. So I have the AVG set for daily scans and haven’t had any more trouble come up, but sure wish I knew why it ran so slowly.

Oh nosies… but you should defrag your hard drive and run check disk to make sure your disk is not failing…. they do fail as all hardware does with usage. But 7 years old??? I am good with a computer for at most 2 1/2 years and then just havta have a new one!! Speed is my need when it comes to computers. They have become sooo cheap for a decent one. It is best to build your own… my next one will be a quad processor system, but I will be running server OS on it I have already been checking around for the best deals…. so far Fry’s has some of the best combo of mother board and processors for cheap $300 + but for that power is CHEAP!!

Yup. Nate’s the best, both in his mathematical and in his verbal analyses.

He says that the delay has to do with a dampening factor that he has programmed into his model to keep day-to-day noise from perturbing it too much. Added stability.

Franken is up by 2% in the last solid poll…Dean Barkley, the Independence candidate is pullin 3-5% but it’s all from Franken and mostly old Clinton women.

Too bad. Franken’s books were a large part of my political reawakening. His stuff is really, really good.

That’s wonderful. Last I saw Barkley was close to 10%. Super.

Bill O’Reilly Hacked: Website Information Breach

Bill O’Reilly has had his website hacked according to a report from Datamation notes. The website reports that hackers broke into the personal site of Fox News commentator Bill O’Reilly. The conservative commentator was reportedly targeted because of his comments on the earlier hack on Sarah Palin’s Yahoo e-mail account.

The report notes that at least 205 names, e-mail addresses, billing addresses and passwords of subscribers to O’Reilly, which were not protected or encrypted were obtained.
