It’s “Trust Daddy” Paulson. Trust him. Give him the tools he needs. Stop the partisan niggling (as if this weren’t supposed to be a democracy, where adversarial haggling works best, as John Dean might say ), especially all you democrats who might want some accountability. Because “we’re in a time of crisis” and we “need to move fast.” /snark.<br /> It’s worrying, because I see a parade of congress critters and characters including Dodd who like they might just act in the same way they acted when Chimpy asked for authorization to go to war with Iraq. (Great emergency, time is of the essence, code red) It was generous of Brokaw to bring up that concerns that some of us little people might have about giving the Chimpo administration too much leeway. Too bad it was pooh-poohed away.
