With Charlie Gibson:
GIBSON: And you didn’t say to yourself, "Am I experienced enough? Am I ready? Do I know enough about international affairs? Do I — will I feel comfortable enough on the national stage to do this?"
PALIN: I didn’t hesitate, no.
GIBSON: Didn’t that take some hubris?
PALIN: I — I answered him yes because I have the confidence in that readiness and knowing that you can’t blink, you have to be wired in a way of being so committed to the mission, the mission that we’re on, reform of this country and victory in the war, you can’t blink.
So I didn’t blink then even when asked to run as his running mate.
With Sean Hannity:
On her family’s reaction to McCain tapping her for his running mate: "It was a time of asking the girls to vote on it, anyway. And they voted unanimously, yes. Didn’t bother asking my son because, you know, he’s going to be off doing his thing anyway, so he wouldn’t be so impacted by, at least, the campaign period here. So ask the girls what they thought and they’re like, absolutely. Let’s do this, mom."
So which was it? Didn’t blink, or asked the girls?
Both can’t really be true. Is one a lie?

Hey Teddy how goes it this cool evening here in the Bay Area?
Hi, Teddy. I say they’re both a lie. Don’t like this woman.
NO both true. Has to be, its the straight talk espresso.
It’s all Bullshit if you ask me. The more I find out about this excuse for a female the more I find her to be a selfish self centered vindictive person who is only interested in one thing!!! Her own POWER over others! And God help you if you have a differing opinion than hers… you be ostracized and discarded like so many before you. And her treatment of womens basic rights is just unbelievable!!
Silly Teddy.
That’s the beauty of being a Republican. You can hold conflicting positions simultaneously, you can lie with impunity, corruption is expected of you, and in the end it is all Bill Clintons fault.
Hell of a scam.
her kids werent told, they were brought to a hotel, cause it was her and TODDS wedding Anniversary
remember………..so many LIES SO LITTLE TIME…”G”
Note the hesitation. The subtext: “What the hell is hubris?”
(a) some elite food, like arugula
(b) exaggerated pride or self-confidence
(c) a trait required in Vice Presidents according to the Constitution (no problem, John and I will change that after we’re elected)
(d) heads up, a circumcision is imminent
“Hubris? In what respect, Charlee?”
That set up is so limiting. We are dealing with real professionals here. They are both lies!
they didnt want to spring Bristols pregnancy either, another ELABORATE lie…i for one cannot keep up with the MENDACITY of that dizzy chick and her dizzy family
708
McCain-Palin because nothing attracts values voters like a bald faced lie!
I din’t do no blinkin’ at all. I just asked the girls and said to hell with the boys.
Plan on askin’ the girls if we should bomb Spain too.
-Sarah of Arc
First she took the vote with the family.
Then she didn’t blink when she told McCain “yes”.
that’s logical, in her mind.
And in the minds of a bunch of militant christian extremists who know she’s purer than pope.
WTF. She didn’t ask Trig and Todd?
does anybody remember the story day 1 that the kids were brought to a hotel, thinking it was a celebration for the wedding Anniversary?
My theory as to why she had to be home to see her son off: She had to show the concern a mother would normally have and, in her son’s case, to make sure he actually went and didn’t desert.
Teddy, for shame! Are you saying you don’t believe she’s telling the 100% truth all the time? Where’s your faith?
I think that would require she be retrofitted with a chastity belt.
Isn’t Trig the infant?
Sarah is making ME lose my marbles
Thank you…. I remember hearing that either on the radio or TeeVee….. and thinking how could she drag her kids thousands of miles across the country and NOT tell them what she was getting them into?
AND think this again….. wasn’t the story that Palin threw Bristol out of the house when she refused to marry Levi? So if she wasn’t living at home how could they have that heart to heart little family talk?
AND I want to know if Palin is reading my comments because I brought up how I as a mother have handled significant issues that effect my kids life ……. by having a family meeting to discuss it and get their buy in……
When your family situation and political situation is as f’d up as Palin’s, she probably doesn’t know WTF she did when.
Hi Bets,no hes Chem101
Awww…I think she does not believe in that sort of thing.
how Convienent
Yes. It’s all about infant-like thinking.
So with McBotox carping about “Wall Street greed” getting us into this economic meltdown, is it time to declare the end of the Ronald Reagan/Gordon Gecko era?
-G
Yup
… and …
OT for Teddy – Went to a meeting of the campus Lambda group for the first time since I became their faculty advisor last night. Their response was quite gratifying, if a bit overwhelming. At the same time it was a bit depressing as well. They were so delighted that a professor, and a straight one at that, would take an interest in them and support them. Says volumes about what they face in their lives. While Missoula is generally a safe and accepting place, most of Montana is a pretty grim place to be LGBT.
great. so she really is the American Taliban. Forced marriages an’ all. Just need a shot of her in a burkah.
Sarah is asked about financial strategy: she is answering about Title 9. It is Charley McCarthy.
Because these dickslappers have been pushing greed as a virtue since I was in highschool in the 80’s.
-G
Who gets credit for McPain?
I’m sure Katie Couric will line all these interview timelines up and grill Governor Palin mercilessly: ” Have I told you about my colonoscopy? “
Perpetual liar. Someone did a piece on her continuing to lie on the bridge to nowhere after admitting it was a lie. Who does that?
Brings me back to that ridiculous story about flying 8hrs after her water broke. That was pure bull. Now, of course, we know that she just lies compulsively. Even when there’s no motive behind it.
Congrats, and thanks for offering them your support. I’ve been to Montana.
Which family home?
thank you………….my bats are still in my Belfry
They have been pushing that line for generations.
I imagine the R’s are going to be dragging Reagan’s moldy old corpse out every 4 years until the end of time. They just need a hero and it certainly is not going to be W.
She is a compulsive liar. Is this what McCain sees of himself in her?
a yup
Just heard another lie, she said people always asked how she could be governor while pregnant. Her pregnancy was a secret.
Here is something funny. I was looking for a good animal analogy, like “that horse has left the barn.” I found the following in the Wikipedia entry on cultural references to pigs. (emphasis mine)
Doesn’t that sound kind of like McCain’s VP vetting process?
Pretty damned hard to believe that a knocked-up and unmarried Bristol would be, like, totally jazzed about being hauled before the American public.
otoh, Mrs. Palin says it so. Da vote was unanimous.
Riiight.
Maybe Katie can get her to talk about this.
see 45
You are insulting Charlie McCarthy and as a 60 something, I take umbrage.
She didn’t blink, because, you know hubris, might get your eye cut out.
Also, in Iraq there was a helicopter hard landing that has killed 5 US soldiers.
Also, there is speculation that the Al Qaeda diaspora from Iraq has begun. The Yemen embassy bombing as an example.
Could mirror what happened after Afghanistan ended. They took the fight back home.
Heckuva job.
-G
Sounds like lipstick on a pig to me.
Hence, he got a pig….with lipstick, yet.
i do think she has mental problems…meglomania?
709!
Offering them support when they asked was the least I could do. Where in Montana did you go?
You surely are right; Candace wouldn’t like it either.
Was the Yemen embassy bombing AQ or an inside job (October surprise)? Enquiring minds & all that.
OK. I know 707, but is 709 twice as funny?
thats what i thought…blackwater?
Someone did a piece on her continuing to lie on the bridge to nowhere after admitting it was a lie. Who does that?
Olbermann is paying $100 to a charity each time he catches her telling that particular lie.
And maybe *all* of her lies in general – not sure about that last part though.
its mine…707 and a 9 for the dismount
Sully has more thoughts on this tonight:
This strongly implies that Palin had already been asked and was offering the girls a vote on the question. “Let’s do this, mom,” is not a response to a hypothetical. It certainly reads like an enthusiastic response to a choice on the table. Without the context of what “it was a time” is referring to, we can’t know. I guess we’ll find out eventually, although we haven’t about almost anything else.
sexist
The only good news I saw all day…
He probably also thought he had the election in the bag. Caveat emptor.
Reading this carefully would suggest a certain mania…an obsession with some sort of “mission” and designs on the Executive Branch long, long before she was asked.
PALIN: I — I answered him yes because I have the confidence in that readiness and knowing that you can’t blink, you have to be wired in a way of being so committed to the mission, the mission that we’re on, reform of this country and victory in the war, you can’t blink.
So I didn’t blink then even when asked to run as his running mate.”
Now she’s a Governor of Alaska…and certainly not involved with REFORM of the country, nor does she have any role in the decision process relating to ANY war. So why was she “committed to THAT mission”? These are human determined policies that she, as Governor, really had not role in deciding or forging.
Yet she seems to suggest that she was already part of this “mission” (i.e. CRUSADE). Either she is suggesting that she is some sort of stealth “Manchurian” candidate, or that she was selected by the McCain team long before the announcement. I suspect that it’s the foirmer, and that the fundamentalists essentially lobbied her through into the position in exchange for their support in the McCain campaign.
Betcha some of those emails to the National Right To Life and various evangelical ministers would be darn interesting to read.
I like arugula too.
Why lie about the teleprompter failing when there were newspersons behind her who could see the teleprompter working and she followed her speech word for word from the handouts?
Why lie that your chief safety officer was fired because he wanted more money to help rape victims?
Why keep lying about the Bridge to Nowhere?
Is She as stupid as McBush to know about audio, video, youtube and the internet?
And a spectacular dismount at that, I might add. Although Suzanne’s specialty is diving, she would surely have nice things to say about dismounts. Also, I did gymnastics in my youth, and I have to agree.
Arugla you hoo.
Dugg it!
The McOutrage campaign is in high dudgeon over the reports of Palin’s e-mail hacking.
Sounds like a “put the focus on victim Sarah ratfuck” operation to me.
Keep hitting McHoover with his out of touchedness and let the rightwing simmer in their Sarah Outrage Stew.
-G
Andrew Sullivan has been going off on Palin, who he considers, accurately, I think, pathological.
I never thought I’d see Sully find someone more mendacious than the Clintons, but now he has.
Because she can.
All ur base are ours!
verrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting
….and good evening, everybody. Long time no, um, threading?
oh yum, with Reggiano, and oil and lemon
Righto. Iraq had no air force, in case you’d lost track.
hows it hangin?
Isn’t it really amazing that someone can make Dan Quayle look like a “strong” choice? Who would have thought…
It has been a few moons, MP! ;-)
Fits into some of the stories about her church that have been leaking out. They are definitely in the Jesus Camp wing of the Talibangelical movement. She is all about Xanist jihad.
A little hobbled from getting the knee sliced (torn meniscus), but otherwise good. And blogging’s been so much easier these days…
I still can’t spell potatoe.
hey MP!
I agree. Michelle Malkin is hysterical over the email breech. Since nothing really outrageous was exposed, I think Rove did it to get Palin back on the front page.
Didn’t the National Intelligence White Paper on Iraq about two years ago indicate that the War in Iraq would serve as both a recruitment tool and training ground for Al Qaida…giving the both the materiel and knowledge to utilize high technology weaponry.
The Yemen attacks surely suggest this!
Hey, MP! Sorry to hear about the knee, but good to see you around these parts again.
im truly terrified of these wackadoodles
t-a-t-e-r?
What I would like to do is go to one of her events….. carry home made signs but sandwiched or hidden it the real sign that says LIAR, LIAR Pants on Fire….. and yell it while she is speaking……
Maybe it’s like Dubya picking Cheney, insurance that whether they voted for you or not, the entire electorate is praying for your sustained good health.
Well they do have some prop driven C-130s and a handful of helicopters, and, if Shrub succeeds in his huge arms sales spree, some F-16 fighters…
Not to worry; we’ve got spell-check. Ooops…like Mc, Dan may not know how to use it. He’d be in trouble.
True dat. Stuff happens.
i vote yes…ignore whole thing, stay on message,it was Ned Lamonts fault
Sarah Palin would not have changed her story about whether she blinked when asked to be the VP nominee, if Barack Obama had only accepted John McCain’s invitation to participate in a series of “town hall” meetings. See? It’s really all Barack Obama’s fault!
Bets!
Reading the Lambda story up a bit reminded me of something from college. I had made a good friend at work, who was new in LA and didn’t feel comfortable doing the club scene to meet people, so I took him to the Gay Club at school. And, who did I see there? A good friend from drama (ok, no surprise there) who was also my boyfriends roommate. It was so, yeah, whatever. Hadn’t thought of that since forever. Nice memory.
Stop being sexist!
That’s good enough for the tots.
speedy recovery!
ouch, mp – been there and yeah, its much easier to be at the computer with the leg elevated with ice on the knee. fingers and toes crossed for an unremarkable recovery.
Every 4 years the Repugs have been lowering the bar for Prez qualifications…. with Bush’s bar being about 4 inches off the floor….. you know know they had dig a hole to get Palin through…..
You should be. They are, and have been for decades, the greatest terrorist threat to the US. Check out some of Dave Neiwert’s stuff over at his place sometime. He has been doing wonderfull work tracking the Xianists and white supremacists for quite a while. I even list him as a source for students in my race and ethnicity class.
Certainly true: I heard some coverage this afternoon from recent polls saying 20+ % think the age thing is a big issue. Sounds like quite a chunk to me.
Been tagged already, see 66.
how are ya my friend?
He is giving it to Alaska Special Olympics as Palin had slashed their funding.
As for her being pathological, I prefer the medical term ‘fucked up’. It seems an apt description.
Well, Yemen isn’t exactly a place that the average American would identify with…like Spain or the UK…..so I don’t know if it something that really gets on the radar for the average mook.
It also rains on the ‘we haven’t been attacked’ talking point to a lesser degree.
Cinnamonape is right. Even some of the comments from jihadists in Iraq claimed that Iraq ‘was like college’ for those inclined towards terrorist acts.
Bush spent 5 years and a trillion dollars to give urban combat lessons to lots and lots of wannabe terrorists.
-G
In other news, turdblossom sez Obama is an “arrogant dilettante.”
Almost as good as dual national (NY/London) Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild calling Obama an elitist.
As I believe Mickey Kaus said, you lost me at “de”.
Drove straight through as fast as my little brother’s Honda would take us!
No, we stopped once, in a pretty town. Can’t remember the name. Arrow-something?
Personally I prefer FUBAR, as a more precise description.
my fave story of the day….CLOWNS all assclowns
Stop using that fancy language – say it in a way normal folks would understand.
And Molly Ivins tried hard to warn us. Can you imagine Molly on the Sarah Beat? O Geeez.
with a dash of hubris?
Most of the people I talk to who think McCain’s age should be an issue are seniors themselves.
*cough* … some white pepper ought to fix that … *g*
Evenin’ all !
Malkin should ask Graeme Frost what his family thinks about the invasion of privacy of Sarah Palin’s emails. I wonder if the emails have anything about granite countertops?
and KKKROVE is just an arrogant basilisk
Did you see my comment @ 9?
Chapstick.
joe lieberman must be so jealous – not only did he not get picked as veep, he didn’t get hacked
I think that says alot…fatigue, memory, risk of things going wrong. Does the AARP endorse?
Every event writeup I’ve read suggests that NO homemade signs are permitted. Those you see at her events are made up ahead of time by little GOPbots.
Watching Colbert….lethal and hysterical.
John McCain didn’t have any town hall meetings for the five-and-a-half years he was a POW.
hahahahahahahahahahaha
the lying 24/7 is taxing my cerebrum
I quoted Molly today, writing about the bankruptcy bill.
Boy, could we use her now.
*waves* to MP !
Rove, ever the calculating scumbag. His advice to Obama is to play the game that Rove has planned for McCain’s election.
Rove told Obama to expand on who he is. Which is a variation of the Schmidt stated strategy of making the campaign about personalities and not policy.
So Rove the asshole wants it to “the war hero vs. the elite, vaguely foreign black man”.
Fucking scumbag.
-G
I think we should just smile and say to the Wingnuts….”Oh, I thought you had no problem with going through peoples private emails looking for naughty information. But you do have problems going through Republican politicians emails which relate to both government activities…that were supposed to be made on Government websites and kept as public records?”
Then quote Jefferson… ” When a man assumes a public trust, he should consider himself as public property.”
Life of Jefferson (Rayner), p. 356.
*ouch* … did it happen inside or outside the Dojo (like that would make it hurt less)
Pretty funny, considering you just posted a comment with “dilettante” @ 116. In fairness, you were quoting an elitist.
Good luck with the knee, BTW.
Doesn’t ring any bells for me, but Montana has hundreds of tiny towns nobody has ever heard of unless they live there or stopped there for some reason. Sounds like you were cruising through on I-90.
let us be creative

You know, it seems like I saw something in the past couple days about the Obama camp seeking their endorsement. Could be my mind is playing tricks, I’m not as young as I used to be.
oh me likey!

A LIAR BLACK FEATHER BOA
Christy will be happy…Pollster just put West Virginia…once solidly red…into the yellow column.
The economic issues are really beginning to bite, it seems.
I think we should just smile and say to the Wingnuts….”Oh, I thought you had no problem with going through peoples private emails looking for naughty information. But you do have problems going through Republican politicians emails which relate to both government activities…that were supposed to be made on Government websites and kept as public records?”
Boom.
yep, but not at this hour. she has a job these days ya see :) and actually goes to sleep.
Hard to imagine that Karl Rove would concern troll the Obama campaign. I mean, he seems like such a stand-up guy.
/snark
I don’t have much time to stay here. Just long enough to thank everyone here for helping us get the truth out on Sarah. Thanks, Teddy!
Is there any video of Palin on Hannity up yet? I dont have FAUX. Did she fuck up?
It looks like McCain blew it again giving an interview for the Spanish press as he didn’t know who Spain’s current President AND kept referring to South American Issues….
OY
oh YES!
Balrog the magnificent peeks above ground. Is it too silly to come out? Perhaps. But the winds of change are blowing stiffly from Red to Blue.
Maybe tomorrow.
Love you guys.
Aren’t they doing those idiotic Divided We Fail ads? Can’t imagine they’d take sides, although they did sell out to Bush on Medicare reform…
We should send them emails. They have a large membership, and esp. look out for health care, etc.
… that’s what I thought … damn … but glad to hear they fixed it up …
The girls are Purple Belts now, so I have to be extra, extra nice around them … *g*
not tonite i believe
Funny how those chickens come home to roost. Put a new small sign on my office door with pictures of Freddie, Fannie, and AIG, with the caption “Socialism: You’re doing it wrong.”
Hear ye, Hear ye ….
Daily blogwhore/blogmadam. Alfred (Kelgarries) the Spook and Peanut Butter have been doing an amazing series of posts today on the REAL body count in Texas after Hurricane Ike. Go check it out. Part three will be tomorrow morning.
Sorry, didn’t know my webcam was on … *g*

Great: it’s called perseveration. Also did that at the Warren interview. Not a good sign.
What is this? Old home week? Good to see you Balrog!
Curses, a job forces you to act grown up an’ all …
Cindy Lou…switched the pills again
Luv u 2.
Did she ask her daughter if she could tell the world about her pregnancy? “Sure, Mom! Throw me to the wolves! Let’s do this!”
How’s the National Enquirer story coming. Is that rumor that she had an affair still alive? What ever happened with the sealed divorce papers?
PUMA Madame de Rothschild…also called smalltown Americans “rednecks” {or as the non-elitist Sarah Palin prefers the patented “sobriquet” Rouge Cou]
And wouldn’t suggesting that Obama was an elitist by calling him an “arrogant dilettante” prove the inverse? Shouldn’t he used the phrase “uppity”?
uh oh. i think i missed a step.
It’d be complete if Loudoun Lib showed up … ((((( LL ))))
Yee Haw.
Frank Borman once said that capitalism without bankruptcy is like christianity without hell. Instead, we subsidize risk and privatize reward.
Blecch.
“Yeah, and let’s bring my Jethro, too!”

Just the spot that every teenager is happy to do for her alienated mother. Yep, I believe that.

Asia stocks tumble to three-year low

That has been Republican policy since at least the Chrysler bailout.
I think the AARP can’t endorse a political candidate due to their being a not-for-profit corporation under IRS regulations. They can deal with issues and inform their members about the candsidates positions on issues…but not make out-and-out endorsements.
As opposed to…
Never mind.
Along with supercilious twit.
I’m kind of thinking they probably avoid doing anything that might lead to them being viewed as partisan. Worth looking into, though.
aka Fascism.
*ouch* … you know the ship’s listing when this headline appears in an Indian Newspaper … USA becomes USSR
” … the multiple rescue acts by Washington marked a moment of supreme irony for the US, and especially for Republicans, whose mantra of less government and less control hasn’t prevented its wayward financial giants from going to Washington hat in hand. The administration has responded in an unprecedented manner, in moves reminiscent of nationalization in socialist countries. “
I miss you guys. Due to Wee-Rogs’ propensity for eating their parents, I’ve had to step lively to the tubes to rant before he catches me.
I feel good about our chances. And I feel less good about dumping Bachmann and Coleman (and Pawlenty, whenever his term is up.). But the shit running downhill will wash these posers away in due time. These are the fights I can influence. When I’m done I will rejoin you as world shapers.
You all have been awesome. Please fight off the Chicken Little feelings and fight.

I was very careful about putting those words in the, umm, ‘correct’ order….

Did the US stock market end up lower than when Bush took office today?

Anyone know when she turns 18? Because as soon as she’s legally able to make her own decisions, “The Enquirer” is going to have one hell of a deal for her.
I think you are right. I do not recall any endorsements, only positions, education. Thanks

i might even buy a copy of that
Betsy, is LL off of Facebook ? Would you mind sending me her e-mail addy ?
Question for you, Dr Dick. Do you know the origin of the phrase, “Socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the poor” to describe Republican economic policy?
ok eyes hurt…se yall tommorrow
In hindsight, I’m thinking my brain bone probably misinterpreted some other acronym.
David Gergen had direct, interesting comments tonight talking about how silent and absent Bush has been in this financial mess. Contrasted with the assurance FDR had offered. Quite pointed.
Night, sadly.
I’m out too, see y’all.
This is one big issue of globalization….. what happens in one part of the world effects others….. when things finally hit bottom the whole world could be in a depression…… Wonder how other countries will view the good old USA then?
Just think….. due to Repug policies, Wall street sold crap investments to other countries which used it as investments for their workers retirement funds….. which will eventually not even worth the paper they are printed on……
Erm?
Google seems particularly unrevealing on this simple factoid.
jane upstairs
I hope Gergen didn’t look surprised, after all, Bush was propping up this mess until now so he wouldn’t have to deal with it …
Hmmm! President Zapatero (of Spain)?
Gotta be thinking that McCain thought that the Spanish interviewer was talking about the Mexican revolutionary and President Emiliano Zapata. Interesting that McCain talks about Zapata as if he was still alive, and was an enemy of the Unite States…thus (I presume) justifying the sending of US troops into Mexico to deal with his incursions into US claimed territory.
One problem…that happened over 100 years ago. McCain still remembers them as if they were yesterday, though!
This guy is older than dirt!
Did the US stock market end up lower than when Bush took office today?
at lest close.
just consider it an “adjustment”, in accordance with the wishes of ever halfway sentient American, to pretend that George W. Bush never existed.
Looks increasingly like that snowball may have just started it’s downward roll.
What pregnant teen wouldn’t want to be dragged in front of american televisions with her whacko fundie mother?
Bush has nothing to fear but himself.
Sweet dreams, syes.
Peaceful slumbers rat.
there are now persistant reports in the markets and on cnbc that Morgan Stanley may be in talks with Asian suitors, to be acquired (cnbc) is reporting that Citic has emerged as the most
likely bidder (is that even legal?). also rumors that wachovia may be hoping to join the same deal and get bought out too. this is freakin’ unbelievable.
“The administration has responded in an unprecedented manner, in moves reminiscent of nationalization in socialist countries. “
With one difference…in socialist states they nationalize profitable corporations and redistribute the profits to the citizens. In the current situation they are bailing them out when they are in a state of collapse, and then distributing the debt to the American people.
I’m sure you all heard about Tweety’s interview by now. Raked the repub over the coals. One of the things he kept saying was “Where’s the President? Americans need reassuring right now. Where’s the president?”
(paraphrased)
The problem being, Bush giving a speech and answering questions might worsen the panic.
Along those lines, I haven’t seen Obama’s 2minute ad but someone should step forward and say ‘we’ll get past this’. Not just policy but something to calm the fears.
Not surprised…annoyed and critical. Like where the hell is he?
Milton Friedman’s “Science” students everyone of them.
Look at what that failed Science has done to the world at large and not just in the USA(:>((
I do not, though I think I saw it, complete with attribution, somewhere today. Just don’t remember where or who originally said it.
Who cares about Palin? She’s nothing. Why so many blogs about her? Geez, the progressive blogs are keeping her on the front page more than the MSM is now. Give it up. This country has horrible problems. We should focus on them and what Obama will do to help change things. Palin was a freaking blip on the radar. Let’s move on.
Night Sadly, RF.
Someone saying the worst since 1929….Bush scares the …out of me, too. An alcoholic baseball team owner….now we’re looking at a hockey pup. What in the world?
All these freaking “geniuses” loaded up on their voodoo mortgage backed securities (how dumb do you have to be to fall for your own con?)and now are left holding really rough toilet paper.
Simple DESTROY her credibility and you take the whole ticket down,,, besides she keeps lying and that keeps her under the kleig lights!!
I agree. She is the top of the ticket. The campaign is, most peculiarly, in Biden’s hands.
Hmmmm….very interesting.
Forget about the judgment issues of putting Palin in that slot – No Palin, no sizzle in the race. Over.
