John Stewart is sooo funny. He knows how to point out the rights total hypocrisy in the most effective way.

The conventioneers seem to fear that even saying the word ’choice’ will cause them to burst into flames or be forcibly ejected from the GOP’s big tent.

What is another word for an alternative, to do something different, etc..?

Either the people she was talking to were stupid or really biting their tongues!

I am getting very sick, very quickly, of Mrs. Palin being allowed to slither out of the woodwork, fire off some ugly insults and catty barbs, and then hide behind the skirts of the McCrazy campaign, which will not allow the media access to attempt to tap into that ugly and vicious little brain of hers.

The R’s must be called out whenever they say that they are proud of Bristol and Sarah for choosing to have the baby. There is no alternative in their world. Watching Samatha Bee’s victims dance around the word ‘choice’ is wonderful. That the only person clueless enough to advance the word was a male makes clear just how aware these Republican women are of the hypocrisy of their own positions.

If McPalin wins, I wonder if pressure for the Republic Party will keep that teenage marriage together for the duration of the Administration?

Studies show that today teenage marriages are two to three times more likely to end in divorce than are marriages between people 25 years of age and older.

That whole “no conception” thing is hilarious to me. The men in this country would soon find out who’s running the show in their house.

But more seriously, you have to read Lakoff to really get this. They are not stupid. they just have an authoritarian world view that we mostly reject outright. Nor would it have made sense to most of the Founders, as they seemed to largely be, well, antiauthoritarian revolutinaries.
