Not to worry, Palin is too aggressive for him. After the “honeymoon period” she will rip his liver out. What’s left of it…..

What a spectacular fish bowl, displaying a barracuda and a trophy gold fish and small fry. How will we ever go back to dry issues?

I think there was a Vancouver connection, but also seem to recall one of the girls was a military brat, not Canadian Forces either but McCain’s Military.
I never considered heart a “glam” band, unless you consider later Fleetwood Mac a glam band. By later, I mean after they morphed from a British Blues Band into a mixed gender pop/rock band with more emphasis on the vocals.

I loved the original Fleetwood Mac, but also liked Nancy Wilson, Stevie Nicks and ESPECIALLY Christine McVie - she could play (and for all I know still can - I can’t remember the name of the tune she recorded with Steve Winwood, in the eighties I think, but it really rocked in my estimation.

Speaking of the military, does anyone know what happened to the guy in the rafters with the “McCain Votes Against Vets” poster?

OK, I know this is belated, but McCain did call the Republicans “the party of Lincoln”, and when anyone does that I always pull up this quote:

“Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital.
Capital is only the fruit of labor,
and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed.
Labor is superior to capital,
and deserves much the higher consideration.” — Abraham Lincoln

The problem with Palin’s spech was tone.
The problem with this speech was the subject. It wasn’t about us. It was almost exclusively about McCain.I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,……………………

I think Cindy must be a little fearful that she could get “Cindy’ed” by John for the younger, cuter [but not richer] Palin.

What did he win? Oh yeah I forgot, he won the war in Vietnam (Supreme Commander from his cage - which is why he couldn’t accept the early release offer. The Viet Cong didn’t realize that his bamboo cage was actually the Command Center for SouthEast Asia at the time.

Oh yeah, I also learned tonight, from his remarks, that he won the Iraq war, that’s right it’s in the bag already because of behind the scenes real Commmander in Chief, John Sidney McCain and HIS SURGE!
