Like much of what Obama has done so far, they keep this stuff under the radar, which is also very smart. While Repubs will have some success with voter suppression since it all happens so quickly and they’re damn good at it, we’ll be able to stop more than ever before. Gotta stay vigilant.

Using the correct grammar in present-day UISA can be dangerous to ones health and peace of mind, opening one to ridicule. All-too many people think that the proper usage is wrong and the user an ignoramus! Sometimes one must write “[sic]” to reinforce that ones usage is indeed correct.

Example: Why is the present perfect tense so little used in the USA now?

Most often an egregious error. For example (but this failing is nearly ubiquitous among present speakers/writers of English hereabouts), Bush always says things such as “We got to…; They got to understand….” The correct forms are clearly “We have got to…; They have got to….” Bush is hardly alone in this misusage, and even the MSM are now adopting such deplorably ignorant grammar. Alas, use of this vitally important tense is little understood in recent American (USA) usage, judging from current examples of speaking and writing.

Yeah, that worries me too. If it’s close enough for the Diebold coup, it’ll be a mess again. The only thing I can say to that is that Obama has changed the map and there might not be the right operatives in the right swing states this time.
