My impression: Eagleton was a great man. Shock therapy can mess with memory. But I feel inclined to defend those who suffer from mood disorders. Winston Churchill apparently suffered from mood disorders as well.

I kept Holy Joe on mute and watched some of the closed captions, and then decided it was all pretty unbearable.
What part of Laura Bush I watched sounded like she was being defensive. Like: “My husband has done lots of great things, yes he has, he really has . . .” Touched by the x*n*x fairy no doubt, reaching for that pie in the sky.
